Anyone running 10.0.2? From what I understand, Apple released it yesterday but it is not being pushed to my Ultra. I tried all the usual toggling of switched. It ain't showing.

EDIT - never mind, I see it's only for Series 9 and Ultra 2.
Yeah a bit weird they make stuff for those models alone

As this fixes an issue with the screen dimming of these new models, I don't find it too weird.

Some reported that 10.0.2 addresses also the Weather complication bug. I am not sure this is really included.

No, the "weather issue" is not fixed in this update.
I think it's mainly here to fix problems specific to the new watches.

@GBstoic i have a series 7 45mm gps model which has been facing a very weird issue ever since watchos 9 where all the smaller circular weather complications would work but the larger hourly weather compications/widgets would say ''loading weather'' for most of the time ,tapping on the complication would show uptodate info on the weather app .unfortunately ,watchos 10.0.1 made things worse and didnt fix this issue . can you please check if the weather widgets in the smart stack and the larger hourly weather complications work normally since you are in the watchos 10.1 beta program ? thanks in advance
Do you mean this?

The Smart Stack is easy but you asked for the larger complications. Thanks for your gratitude.
@GBstoic hey i'm sorry , you misunderstood me .my english is not perfect. by larger complications i meant the hourly weather conditions complication which can be placed in the middle larger section of the modular duo and modular watch faces..sorry again ..thanks in advance

I've noticed that on 10.1 (Series 7), with Accessibility -> Quick Actions turned ON, notifications are now completely dismissed. Previously, with this feature turned on, the double tap gesture removed notifications from the screen, but they still remained in the Notification Center with a red dot indicating they were unread. On 10.1, a double tap now completely removes incoming notifications.

This is, of course, how the new Double Tap feature is supposed to work, but not how Quick Actions worked in the past. I suppose this is Apple bringing everything into alignment. With this update, Quick Action feels nearly identical to Double Tap. I'm having a hard time finding scenarios where it differs.

Oh, and "Gestures" is now a main listing in the watch settings.

Supposedly the only difference is the better chip which is able to monitor the double tap gesture without a performance/battery hit. This is according to Apple

Hi all, I have a Series 7 Watch & just updated to watchOS beta 10.1. Ever since, messages has totally stopped syncing & I can’t reply to anything. I’ll still get notifications of new messages, but I can’t send anything back.

Anyone else experience this or have a solution? Perhaps I need to reset the whole watch?

Oh, and my iPhone 15 Pro is also on iOS beta 10.1.

Hey, yes I actually just did a full reset on it (erased all content & settings & then restored from a back up) & now everything’s working again. Thanks!

10.1 public beta - charging is now really slow on my series 7. Charged for an hour before bed and this only gave me 10% more battery. I tried turning optimised charging off and resumed charging but made no difference. Same again this morning.

Anybody tried out the double tap feature and can report how it works in real life usage? What can be done with it in certain apps?
