I have updated my Ultra 2 yesterday to watchOS11 RC (I have skipped all beta as I need a working watch).
No issue, battery is the same.

Dissapear from where? This is the worst beta yet, and this is RC! Weather and Music apps disappear for no reason, only a reset brings them back, although only for a while.
Of both, really. Complications would be less of a concern. They just disappear from the watch. They're not on the list.Dissapear from where?
Complications or grid/list view?
Not getting this problem myself.
Indeed, had you also experience this on the Nike Bounce face, as well? I did not notice accelerated battery drain on the RC with any AW face that changes appearance or interacts with wrist movement.Hi.
My two cents on battery drain. I'm now on watchos 11 RC & apple watch 9. Exactly how I had for wathcos 10, the main reason for battery drain (up to 7-10 % per hour) is the watch face! In particular even if it's absolutely my favorite, stay away from "analog solar" one. On watchos 11 the new "reflex" one seems to have the same draining behavior.
Very weird is that not using is not enough: you must also remove from the face gallery and reboot the watch.
Once done my watch instantaneously reverts back to expected battery duration (less then 2% / hour ).
I hope it may help someone.
Hi, unfortunately I've never checked with Nike Bounce.Indeed, had you also experience this on the Nike Bounce face, as well? I did not notice accelerated battery drain on the RC with any AW face that changes appearance or interacts with wrist movement.
I also finally see that the Mindfulness app does not crash anymore when I start an audio-only Fitness+ meditation.
That’s what I’m saying about Watch faces causing a steeper drop in battery life. If it is dependent on constantly updating or changing on continuous use like animation or visual effects like both the Nike bounce and Reflection faces show, then battery can drain faster.Hi, unfortunately I've never checked with Nike Bounce.
My stomach feeling is that draining comes when a energy-intensive animation (like the solar one) is repeated/triggered abnormally over time. Potential causes can be the display detecting non existent / "ghost touch" (a known issue for apple watch) as well as internal inertial system not properly filtering minor or irrelevant wrist movement.
This link with watch sensing alteration can explain why some watches - even using the same face - are not showing abnormal battery draining.
Of course also notifications may pay its role since notification triggers display reactivation that triggers the face animation...
Yes, on always onThat’s what I’m saying about Watch faces causing a steeper drop in battery life. If it is dependent on constantly updating or changing on continuous use like animation or visual effects like both the Nike bounce and Reflection faces show, then battery can drain faster.
Do you have always on display set on your Apple Watch?
Same here. But I change Apple Watch faces daily based on the band i change it to. The next release should fix up battery life as the RC can still be quite unpredictable when it comes to battery life.Yes, on always on
It still shows up on my iPhone.Anyone else sometimes not get blood oxygen measured in the vitals app after sleep? It’s still taking my blood oxygen measurements because I can see them in the Health app, but it’s missing from the Vitals app. I‘m on the RC.
I would say that the water temperature sensor is a different sensor than the wrist temperature one.Water temps can show up in dive/swim workouts in all gens AW Ultra, and the Series 10 Apple Watch. This is measured by the same sensor used for measuring body temperature with your wrist.
Really? The sensor for temperature is on the top and bottom inside of the Apple Watch. The bottom one sits underneath the heart rate and blood oxygen sensor:I would say that the water temperature sensor is a different sensor than the wrist temperature one.
Well I’m delighted to say the Ultra 1 can indeed record water temperature during a swim workout with watchos11 so I am a happy camper.
Just a PSA for those getting new phones and or watches next Friday. Turn off beta's after you install the official iOS/WatchOS coming out today. If you are running a newer beta when you pick up your new product (iPhone 16 Pro Max for me) this Friday, you will have to upgrade the new device to the beta to begin the transfer from old to new.
Makes for a long time in the store.
Y’all if you have RC you can stay on it. Final release does not get pushed out on iPhones and iPads that have the iOS and iPadOS 18 RC installed alreadyThis!!!. Not worth it, just get back on the beta with the new devices if you so choose.
For good or bad, I always perform a force restart after an update.Where is this Flux Apple Watch Face that's mentioned in the update notes? I can't see it. I have an Apple Watch Ultra 2 and just updated to the newly released watchOS 11!

I have that issue on watchOS 11 RC too. But if it’s work emails from Outlook app or my smart doorbell Ring app my Apple Watch still taps my wrist.Hi guys. Does anyone have this weird bug where the watch only vibrates for notifications from Reminders, Mails or Messages but not from any third party apps like WhatsApp? I think I have this issue since updating to the WatchOS11 beta last month. Even now with the full version out it still doesn’t work. Resetted the watch and also re-paired it but to no avail.
I ended up finding this Flux by adding a new watch Face from the watch itself rather than him the Apple Watch App on my iPhone. It's fugly. I'm switching back to something less fugly. For good or bad, I always perform a force restart after an update.
