@Diopter and @MacDevil7334 , follow up! 😊 Do you know if the Smart Stack bug has been fixed in the 11.4 watchOS beta 2? Let me know if you find out especially with your fellow Hermes Apple Watch wearers. Thanks a bunch!
I’m not running the current beta because I’m travelling at the moment and need my watch to be behaving normally, so I’m not risking it for now! But I’d assume it isn’t fixed in beta 2.

I had updated my feedback with a new sysdiagnose for 11.3.1 and have already included a reference to MacDevil7334’s feedback, and I have been given an indication that my feedback will be looked at, so I’m crossing my fingers.

It dropped into the 80’s around the 11.2 beta if that is the one that had the bug giving low readings. It rebounded after that and has been on 90% for 11.3, 11.3.1, and now 11.4b2.
You’re correct about that, it started in 11.2 RC and beta versions after that then 11.3 resolved it on beta. RC, it came back. For a launch day AWU that is completely okay for the battery health to be in the 90s.

So you are on watchOS 11.3.1 public release now?
Thank goodness both of you have filed it. @MacDevil7334 did say that if it was secluded to Hermes Apple Watch models Apple would not overlook it as much as it only affects hundreds to thousands of Apple Watch wearers worldwide versus if it would affect regular series or a certain colour of Apple Watch, which is a wider scale of ten thousands to millions of Apple Watch wearers.

Correct. Yes, it'll be interesting to see what happens. We can't be sure it only affects Hermès models, but I still haven't been able to reproduce it on a non-Hermès model. I also have a report from someone with an Hermès watch who doesn't experience the problem, so it doesn't happen for everyone.

Naturally I'll post an update here if I hear any more news.

At least taking a sysdiagnose on a watch is now so much easier than it used to be, so it's easy to test it again and send them a new version.

Thanks, mate. I appreciate you taking the time to file your feedback on the Smart Stack bug. It seems that people with non-Hermes Apple Watch models haven’t encountered this bug yet. I’ll check the Hermes Apple Watch wearers megathread to see how you and others like you are progressing on this bug. Best of luck! 🤞

Darn, I have yet to update I have a busy day today! Thanks for notifying us. I will not be updating my watch and hold it off until next week, only my iPhone. I use List View to see my apps on my AW so it may differ with other folks.
^^ Please post your feedback IDs for this
Thanks for doing your part, bruv. Y'all can use these Feedback IDs when you file your own through Feedback Assistant on your iPhone so it can also raise more attention/awareness for :apple: 's software engineers to address a fix.

Hey Apple Watch users! 👋

I skipped watchOS 11.4 beta 3 because of all the comments about the missing app icons.

Did Apple update you all on this on Feedback Assistant?

Let’s guess what the next beta 4 will be like. Hopefully, they’ll fix that annoying battery health bug. 😅 Anyone else seeing the same issue as in beta 3? Let me know! If I get some good feedback from you all on beta 4 when it comes out tomorrow or Tuesday, I’ll update my watch to it. Let me know what Apple Watch you are wearing and what series is it.

Have a fantastic weekend! 😊

You are always speaking of a battery health bug.
Are you sure it's a bug ?
Battery health algorithms evolve, and maybe it's your real degradation.
Dude, everyone knows that this issue has been widespread since the 11.2 RC was released! Honestly, if you updated to this beta and it was on an Apple Watch that you recently purchased (less than 6-12 months ago), it can’t suddenly go down!
Yes, no issues thus far but it has only been 5 minutes.
Let it stabilise for at least a day or two and it should be fine.
All icons are on my AWU1. Performance seems to be good like the rest of the 11.4 betas.

Thanks a bunch for all the support and positive comments! I’m feeling really good about updating my Apple Watch to the latest beta version today. I’ll get it done tonight!

This issue was fixed, if I remember correctly...
A 6 month old battery is not at 100% health.
How old is your watch, and how much is SOH ?

I have a series 6 it’s 9 months old and I had it since mid May 2024.

I had the highest SOT of 17-18 hours of a full charge.

Which series is your Apple Watch?

Hoping the new beta has fixed this relatively recent issue: my watch connect via Bluetooth to a life fitness elliptical, and then immediately disengages from it and returns to the main fitness screen, even though it is still connected. Logs nothing from the workout. Will try with this latest beta.

Yuck that’s bad! My iPhone 15 Pro disconnected from Fitness+ a few times at the end of 30 minutes or longer workout videos and it’s frustrating because I have to manually play the videos from the Stack. It was on iOS 18.4 beta 3 but I hope it’s not like that anymore in beta 4.
