happy new year, sir. May you have a blessed year ahead. Are you getting your Apple Watch Ultra downgraded?

What’s up my friend. Not following you on the downgrade. Just looking for the next beta series of 11 to launch. I actually really need something on my iPhone. Last beta has a bug that’s annoying me.

11.3 Beta 2 installed. All good so far.
I’m going to install it tonight too. Hope it resolves the big battery drain problem that drains half the capacity of my Apple Watch battery after I sleep track one night.

Guys is the battery health displaying incorrectly? Last update 11.3 beta 1 it was 99%, that’s incorrect. Now beta 2 of 11.3 is 97%.  what is wrong with the battery health representation? It was fine before 11.2 RC and after watchOS 11.1 beta 4.

Yes.

Mine was at 100% on watchOS 11.2 RC. When I installed 11.3 beta 2, it reported 99%, which isn't right for a watch that's only 2 months old (it took my wife's Ultra almost a year just to hit 97% battery health with regular usage). My old Ultra dropped from 100% to 98% to 88% during the 11.2 beta cycle and then went back up to 99% on the RC. My current Ultra 2 is still reporting 99% for 11.3 beta 3.

I figure it's another beta bug like the one in the early betas of 11.2 that will be fixed by the time the RC of 11.3 is ready.

What was yours showing before the 11.3 betas?

100% if it wasn’t 11.1 or later. I only owned my series 6 new for about six months.

How is the new "Closing all circles" award working out for you guys? I have 18.2.1 on my iPhone and 11.2 on my Ultra and it doesn't really count them at all... I should at least have several thousand, but it says 11 out of 100 at the moment - is it fixed in the next beta?

My Apple Watch is still counting.

Has anyone experienced significant battery drain drops in watchOS 11.3 RC? In just two hours, my watch lost nearly half its battery, and I was only listening to music. 🎶

Y’all, watchOS 11.3.1 public release is out, in addition to iOS 18.3.1.

I watched this AWU video that popped up in my YT feed, this has English subs but if you have smaller wrists like me this is a must-watch. Both Ultra colors and all :apple bands shown, and yes the bulkiness of bands impacts how they look especially on small wrists.

Battery life my watch was able to last 17h like prior watchOS 11.3 versions.

Is anyone else experiencing a bug with the crown where scrolling it won't open the Smart Stack?

All I have to do to get it into this state is long-press a watch face to open the face switching mode, then press the crown to go back to the current face. After doing that, scrolling the crown won't open the Smart Stack any more. If I then press the crown to go to the app view and press it again to go back to the current face, now scrolling it will open the Smart Stack as expected.

I've been experiencing this bug since 11.0 but I haven't seen other people mentioning it, so I'm wondering if it's just me.

Sometimes in early watchOS 11 beta this happens but I don’t have this issue anymore.

It’s an Hermès Series 9, 41mm. I reported it to Apple and it was marked as a fix being identified for a future software release, but that was just before 11.2 was released, so I expected it to be fixed in 11.3.

For me it’s consistently reproducible too: if I long press the watch face and then press the crown to go back, now the crown can’t open the Smart Stack.

Interesting. Y’all else experiencing this? My Apple Watch Series 6 40mm Gold SS is not affected by this bug.

I have had this bug on every release version of watchOS 11 (I haven’t been on the betas). But I haven’t been able to consistently reproduce it until I saw @Diopter ’s post. I have had it on my 45mm S9 and now my 46mm S10. Just checked and the bug is still there in 11.3.1. I’ll file a feedback too as this bug has been driving me CRAZY since watchOS 11 came along. I use the Smart Stack many times a day.

I'm so glad to know I'm not the only one suffering from this bug! Thanks for filing a report too! (I've been updating mine with each release to note that the bug is still there)

Similarly it has been driving me up the wall because I also use the Smart Stack a lot. At first I noticed it occasionally and couldn't pin down what was causing it, but eventually figured out that simply opening the watch face switching view is enough to make it happen.

Filed feedback FB16504911 if you want to add it as a reference to your report.

Hey, guess what? You both have Hermes Apple Watches! One has a 41mm S9, while the other has the bigger S10s and Series 9. That’s pretty rare. By the way, when I change the watch faces on my S6, the Smart Stack still opens up when I scroll down the Digital Crown or on the screen.

That's very interesting! It would be amazing if it did only affect Hermès models for some reason. I'll investigate further to see if I can isolate that as the factor!

Y’all have a regular series Apple Watch or an Apple Watch Ultra to try reproducing this bug? If so, install the beta version on it and check if it has the bug.
