No. Maybe I did not move much, but I was awake. Also there was a „wake“ interval of about 2.5 hours then until I went to bed.
Would not care but Athlytic calculates a very wrong sleep quality score. As a number nerd, I do care. So I manually delete the wrong naps in Apple Health the next morning.
Ohhh so if you don’t delete it the apps that depend on your sleep data will miscalculate the sleep quality. Thought of that as well if we use training load on activity app. During the winter time I work out very long and hard during the cold months. That one you use a lot of Apple Watch Ultra users who do triathlon or run a lot on the Apple Watch use these recovery apps. I use Peaks which calculates that and also maps my routines based on the heart rate and sleep data… I saw it on the Apple Watch Reddit page from a fellow Apple Watch user and I liked using it since the summer.

For me that would be normal behaviour 😌
How is it like for you, Apple Watch Ultra friend? Do you use it for outdoors, like camping or fishing 🎣? Or for working out a lot like extreme athletic activities or sports activities?

As a collector of mechanical watches i refused buying a smart watch for a long time.
But i'm also doing a lot of sports, especially swimming and biking (ambitious but not extreme ;)).
So at some point i wanted a smart watch with good training functions, 100m water resistance and a saphire glass.
Having lots of Apple stuff i decided to get the ultra 2.
Starting the swim training with the correct swimming lane lenght by just pressing the action button is a nice feature.
But meanwhile i wear the ultra all day long and do all that smart watch things like reading mails and messages, checking the weather, hearing music from Spotify, controlling my TV (ATV4k) and my bluOS sound system and so on.
To my own suprise i do hardly use the health functions so far. I don't use sleep tracking at all.
Going out for dinner i prefer wearing one of my mechanical watches. That's still a completely different thing to me tbh.

The Apple Watch Ultra stands out with unique features designed specifically for active individuals like cyclists and swimmers. While standard Apple Watches offer plenty of functionality, the Ultra version is essential for those seeking enhanced performance and durability. This watch boasts an impressive battery life, allowing it to last longer between charges, making it perfect for long training sessions. Additionally, it is ISO certified for water and dust resistance, ensuring it withstands the rigors of triathlons and other demanding activities. Users have the option to choose between a Trail Loop, alpine loop or an Ocean Band, each tailored to suit different sporting environments. Which one do you prefer?

Whether you’re navigating rugged trails or diving into the ocean, the Apple Watch Ultra provides the features and reliability you need.

Yes, Athlytic does treat it as one long sleep with a huge wake interval and calculates a very poor sleep quality (10% or so).
🤯 mines decreases sleep quality on Peaks if I wake up in middle of the night for a long time. But so far i maintain a perfect amount sleep quality.

Wow, that looks very good.
When I first started tracking my sleeps I was astounded how often I was awake during sleep without noticing. Then I saw charts of others folks that looked a lot more red than mine and I was feeling better. Stupid, really. ;)

Yep the sleep quality is better if you wake up less in middle of the night. Even if you tried to get up early but wanted to go back to sleep it counts as an awake.

Y’all witnessed the battery life shortened during sleep tracking in watchOS 11.3 beta? Lately for a couple of nights my Apple Watch drains all the way to 55-60% after sleep tracking overnight.

Has anyone noticed that the clock moves forward?
Let me explain, with the screen always active it shows me, for example, 12:10 a.m. and when I raise my wrist and it turns on, the screen shows 12:03 a.m.

Had you set your Watch face to advance the time forward?

I might be very LTTP here, but the widgets in smart stack seem to have gone to **** this update hit in Sep. Particularly, apple music and podcasts widgets. Which are now super slow to respond.

I'm not imagining that they used to be snappier, right?

I don’t think I saw this bug, but had you restarted your Apple Watch, friend? For reference, which series Apple Watch are you wearing and which watchOS beta is it?

I have series 9 and I’ve just realized that I've posted in the wrong thread. My bad. I'm not in the beta and on 11.2 (22S101)

Is it possible to set the Watch to "theater mode" as part of a Focus setting? Would be cool to turn off notifications and sounds on all devices, while also turning off my watch screen when at a movie or show.

You have to set it as an automation in Siri Shortcuts.
