Updated to the watchOS 11.4 public release today after I got home from school.

The battery health is still misrepresented. Y’all else still got this bug?

No, still at 90% health on release day (30 months old) AWU1. It did drop to 86% during the 11.2 betas, but has been stable at 90% ever since.
So, my Apple Watch’s battery health is still at 91%, but this isn’t a beta version. If it gets any worse in the next couple of betas and doesn’t get fixed, or if I switch to a public release before watchOS 12 comes out in the fall, I might need to take it to the Genius Bar this summer.

It’s not only been a year since I got the watch, and having it drop below 90% battery health in less than a year seems a bit unusual to me.

Same with usage and charging patterns. I gave up trying to make sense of my battery health and preserving it. I'm just gonna use it the way I need to use it and upgrade to the Ultra 3 this fall.
I highly recommend AppleCare + and express replacement for battery if you have it. Some folks use bold text and bright full screen versions of Watch faces, which can also cause this issue. I’m avoiding it for now.

However, I’m curious if anyone else has AppleCare on their Apple Watches and iPhones, besides signing up in Settings. I heard from a few people who got it on their 14 Pros , 15 pros and macs when they signed up on the spot at the Apple Store. I’d definitely do that if I see the battery getting worse over the summer.

New Apple watch 10 and trying to update IOS using 16P w/IOS 18.5 B1. Watch is 100% charged & on charger in same room with Wi-Fi & 16P iPhone. Watch APP, General, Software Update (with Red circle with a 1) on 16P indicates WatchOS 11.4, Estimating time remaining and seems to be stuck on this after several hours. Restarted everything a couple of times. Any help appreciated & tks.

Note Watch 10 version is 11.3.1(22S560) Model MWWH3LW/A

The update to 11.4 failed to install several times. I then checked the developer beta for the watch 10 and over night the SW IOS updated to 11.5. Watch seems to be functioning but is new to my wife so lots of learning ahead. Thanks.

Hi there! Is the WiFi speed a bit slow? Maybe you can move closer to the router or check if there are any outages from your ISP. If that doesn’t work, you could try resetting your router or temporarily disconnecting a few devices that you don’t need right now.

Also, you can download the update directly on your Apple Watch over cellular, or without having your iPhone in the same room. If you’re using a hotspot or public WiFi network at a hotel, school, library, or other public place, peak usage can sometimes slow down the internet.

Hope this helps. Cheers 👋

I read a report from a 11.5 b1 user saying he is receiving charge notifications again.

Wife has not seen any bugs yet with 11.5 IOS on her watch 10.
I share your sentiments.

Given that it’s almost June, have any of you speculated about the new Pride 🏳️‍🌈 Apple Watch faces this year? It’s currently April .

Hey everyone! Guess what? WatchOS 11.5 beta 2 is finally out! I’m excited to download it and see what it’s all about.

And guess what else? The iPhone update for iOS 18.5 beta 2 is also coming out soon. I can’t wait to try it out and see what improvements they’ve made.

Fingers crossed that this update stays strong and free from bugs! Let’s hope it’s a smooth ride for everyone. 😊

Can't wait to not install it and see it changes nothing visible for end user ...
I share your opinion, btw. Many of you haven’t been actively participating in the beta testing as we near the end of WWDC and the announcement of iOS 19.

That explains y’all haven’t seen any huge changes asides from performance and bugs.

Let’s turn the tables and speculate about watchOS 12, considering the 10 years of Apple Watch experience.

I’ll kick things off by suggesting the return of classic watch faces like the chronograph, Siri, Explorer, and regular modular designs. What are your thoughts on watchOS 12?

WWDC is just a month and a half away!
