Hey everyone! iOS 18.5 beta 3 and watchOS 11.5 beta 3 are finally out, since Monday.

Installed it last night.

How are you all doing? Nothing big for these updates, just bug fixes. My Fitness+ workout videos don’t crash or time out at the end of long workouts anymore, which is a huge relief.

I’m also curious about watchOS 12. Will Apple Watch get Apple intelligence like the iPhone does? That would be amazing!

Y’all in for watchOS 11.5 RC?

The pride month colour block faces are here, the band just got announced.

I wish. I cannot install it, unsure why.

I actually realized what was wrong. For some reason, after installing iOS 18.5 RC as an update to iOS 18.4 (stable), Lockdown Mode was enabled on my Apple Watch *only*, which forbids beta updates.

I had to turn on and off Lockdown Mode on my iPhone to get them back in sync.
why do you use lockdown mode for?
Security reasons?

It was at one point. Maybe that's why?
That's probably why, yeah - it wouldn't be the first time I've seen some settings seemingly turn back on again after a software update. It's definitely not common, but it can happen.

It's almost like a leftover piece of code that was last used when the setting was on is read again or re-enabled after an update, and triggers the whole setting to toggle back on. That's just my guess though lol.
