Went with a brand new OEM Samsung convertible wireless charger on eBay for $32. It works great and very versatile, but I really hope Apple won't be stingy and prevent Samsung QI products from being compatible fast charging devices once the update releases.
i don't see how they will do that honestly, its the same QI chip as the belkin and morphie.
[doublepost=1509675475][/doublepost]Can someone confirm, is it okay to use an extension cord with my wireless charger? that doesn't effect the watts right? dumb question

I need charging pad for iphone x:

- big enough flat surface and strong enough magnet so phone doesnt fall off with vibration of notifications
- fast charge
- allows charging with case

i heard the mophie wireless charging base fits these requirements but $60 is too expensive as i want to get 2-3.

any suggestions

I ordered the RAVpower one and used a code which brought it from 51.99 to 31.99. It doesn’t ship until the 3rd week of November unfortunately but didn’t want to miss out on using the code.

How do you get the code? Is it a personalized code? Are you at liberty to share?

Thanks.

OK, I see fast chargers are charging at 7.5-10 watts. My Anker lightning charger charges at 2.4 amps max. since w=a x v how do the wireless chargers compare to wired? ravpower specs:

output = 7.5W max
input 5v/2a, 9v/1.8a

Where are the receivers in iPhone? Right in the center? Toward the bottom a little?

Is it normal for phone to be warm on my Samsung wireless charger?

The charger is a little warm too. Like the pad.

Than again the phone may be downloading all the stuff from the cloud still

So looks like all chargers get warm. Wireless.

But the fan doesn’t turn on. Is that because fast charge isn’t working until Apple releases the updated.

Mine seemed to work earlier but now not at all. Just hangs at the 91% it was at when I set it there. It's an Anker but not the model I've seen here.

I just ordered the Belkin Boost.

Silver X, white kitchen, color coordination! :D

Do any of the wireless pads available have the ability to charge 2 phones at once! Will the Airboost be able to do that even?

This QI charger from Spigen just arrived

Its the Spigen Essential F301W Universal Ultra Slim Fast Wireless Charging Pad. Perfect size for me as I use it on the bedside table. Not fully tested its charging speeds but as it's used for a overnight charger it's not really that important to me.

Any suggestions for a wireless charger that doesn't light up the whole room at night? I have a Samsung one but I'm planning on returning it, because it has a bright LED halo whenever the phone is on it.

Wouldn't they all be compatible? Airpods need the charging case that isn't out yet and the Watch needs to be Series 3.

Like a dock for the side of your bed. I currently have one that charges my iPhone and Apple Watch but have seen three-in-ones (but not Qi).

Did Apple even enable the fast charge over wireless ? Thought right now it’s only the slow one

I was at IKEA earlier looking through the lighting section, and what do I see? A bunch of table lamps with Qi pads built-in. They're quite pricey, but an $80 model was half off so I decided, "Why not?" and purchased it.

So far no complaints! Works well and I really love how it's built into the base of the lamp. Eliminates another cord.

Of course, I don't know how the long-term quality will be of this thing. Though, if anyone is interested, they have single Qi pads for $20, A triple Qi pad for around $60, and ones that can be fitted into a desk or table (if you're willing to drill a hole) for $12.

Can anyone recommend a wireless charging pad/mat that:
  1. Is big enough that my iPhone wont fall off when it vibrates or something
  2. Doesn't get hot
  3. Is not too expensive
