Question, would quick charging lower the lifespan of the battery? I am interested in the Mophie because the other Chinese brands I just don't trust with a $1300 phone. But I also don't want to lower the lifespan of the battery itself because of quick charging.

The Samsung convertible charging stand with the leather back is the best wireless charger, bar none. I found it much cheaper than msrp on eBay. Love it.

I got the Mophie today at the Apple store and also ordered the Spigen fast wireless charger. Will try both and decide which one goes back. So far Mophie works great.

After looking a the samsung Convertible stand on eBay and debating. I ended up ordering the Ravpower with the code.

Do we know anymore about the samsung chargers supporting the 7.5w mode? I'd like the standing one for my desk, but only if it supports 7.5.

I'll just wait until someone confirms if the Convertible one from Samsung can charge iPhone at 7.5 W.

Is the Ravpower more future proof than the Mophie? Looks like the Ravpower can support faster than 7.5w on supporter devices whereas the Mophie only mentions up to 7.5w.

Also, has anyone with iOS 11.2 tested the Ravpower? Does the light turn green on it to indicate fast charging? Per recent articles it looks like faster charging is enabled in iOS 11.2.

I got the Samsung stand from last year and it doesn’t work all the time... Sometimes it charges the phone all the way, but other times, I put the phone back on and the phone goes into a weird endless cycle of starting to charge for two seconds and then stopping. As if the charger cuts power over and over. A lot of reviews mention this but I wonder what the cause is.

Might get the convertible stand instead.

There must be some brave soul who has installed the latest iOS 11.2 beta so that they can tell use if non-Apple blessed chargers work at 7.5W?

;););)

is there any QI charger that also has a stand on the side for the apple watch? I have the belkin one, but i wouldn't mind having a wireless charger one.

any photo's of the Ravpower? Also how big is it? How much faster/slower is it then the mophie? Very tempting with the code and brings it $30 bucks or so

Here are some pics of the RAVPower. It’s a little smaller than the Samsung version. Also, added a pic of the LED explanation from the manual. I currently can confirm it works with the Apple Folio Case & Otterbox Symmetry.

Does the power brick get hot on the RavPower? I saw one Amazon review that noted this.

What's the LARGEST Qi pad available out there?

I'm looking for something that I can place underneath my bedside table and not have it matter where I place my phone. The ability to charge multiple devices is nice too, but not required (also unsure how that works - does it have to be a special one?)

Thanks in advance.

I have the Samsung fast charging stand, but not the 11.2 beta yet. As it stands now, it charges about the same time the iPad charger charges the phone. Sure hoping the fast charger works.

I am thinking about this one is it any good?

This is my office charger and I’m happy with it. Doesn’t seem too fussy about phone placement either. My only minor gripe is that while the LED charging lights isn’t that bright, it stays on while charging - bright enough to annoy me in bed - hence the reason it sits on my office desk.

The curved rings on it are soft-ish so no issue scratching my naked X.

I have this

plugged into an iPad charger and also installed 11.2 on my X. I'm not sure if fast charging is working, I am not sure how to tell, but it does seem to be charging faster...I haven't really done any "scientific" tests to verify though. Any way to tell?
