I grabbed the Samsung fast charger puck just because it was locally available. Works great.

Honestly, this is even more convenient than I anticipated. I'm probably going to try to run and grab another one for my desk at work today...

Just got the Belkin at my local Apple Store today. It works and fits perfect on my nightstand. Works great with my Seidio Surface case as well. tonight will be the first all night test run. Hopefully it won't burst into flames.

Glad to see the Samsung chargers work - wasn't totally sure if they did. I know what I'll be getting now.

personally, I think I'm going to wait for the charging pad they announced at the keynote, and just get 3. 2 for home and 1 for the office.

I hope they release wireless charging for the next gen iPads, and maybe even a MagSafe adapter to wirelessly charge my MacBookPro

Can someone please tell me if this is fast charging one.

Wireless Charger, [New Version]Pictek Wireless Charging Pad, Ultra-thin Qi Charging Pad for iPhone X / 8 / 8 Plus, Samsung S8 / S8 Plus / S7 / S7 Edge, S6 / S6 Edge/ S6 Edge Plus, Note 5, Other Qi-Enabled Devices https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01G8W2WXQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_vEtYzbV2BVJ2X

Also , a link to the correct fast charging adapter too.

Or if you can tell me what to look for in the description to ensure it's fast charging power adapter. Ie: 10w or 2.6amp..etc

Thanks!

See the one I've linked to above. It's the lowest priced one, and outputs 18W.

Looks good... for $6.99 I'll probably pick it up. The one I linked I just plugged into my PC USB. The wireless charging to me is more of a convenience... slap it on there when I'm on the PC or going to bed.

Quicker charging never hurts though.

My 8 Plus will be here in 2 days and am looking to order a wireless charger soon. Anybody pick one up yet or have your eye on one? I really like the stands over the pads. May buy both, stand for home and pad for trips/car use.

These are the ones I’m looking at:

https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Wireless-Charging-Galaxy-Devices/dp/B00Y839YMU

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01H76NIAS/ref=psdc_12557639011_t3_B00Y839YMU

That Seneo charger looks interesting. I'll get that one for home and a generic puck for the office.

The Samsung Fast Charges are on sale at Best Buy they should work just as well as any of the other brands. Anker also makes a good QI Charger too.

Which is the current non-Apple wireless charger that is capable of fast charging? Also is it worth getting a non-Apple product just to save a few quid/dollars?

Wireless chargers don’t support fast charging as far as I’m aware of.
