Wondering if anyone has any experience with the Seneo brand on Amazon, and which one is working for 7.5 W charging
I have the newest edition of the Seneo and a no name ($10) one from Walmart. both seem to charge at about the same rate---I am sure fast enough for the average user.

TL;DR, what's the Qi charger to get after all this testing?
looking for something that will work today, but is also future-proof for when (if?) apple enables 3rd party fast charge

thanks!

5W charging is fast enough for overnight charging, but too slow for on-the-go charging during office hour.

Buy any cheap 5W or more charger for now, the all charge at 5W, and wait for AirPower. If you really want 7.5W (which in real life is not that much better, get the $59 chargers from Apple store.

I picked up a samsung wireless charging stand from best buy. I had them price match it to amazon for $40. It charges overnight and its a stand. i'm a happy camper. Maybe mophie will release a stand version.

Has anyone actually seen any of the wireless chargers recorded as supplying 7.5w of charging in Coconutbattery Plus?

Wondering just how accurate this is.

That would be a very worthwhile test. Everyone is testing the non-7.5W chargers but no one is testing the actual 7.5W chargers.

I got the same one and am very happy with it. Also got it price matched at Best Buy. For overnight it’s perfect. The stand also takes up less space than either the Belkin ot Morphie.

I have two Samsung Qi chargers that work good for my purposes. One on my side of the nightstand and one at work.

This past weekend I found a deal on a used Mophie 7.5W Charger for $30, so I couldn’t past that up. Now the wife gets the Samsung for her nightstand and I now have the Mophie.

Edit: the only the I don’t like about the Mophie is the charger plug’s cable is very thin. It reminds me of the iPhone cable and can potentially fray over time.

Just installed...

Also, MDF a bitch to cut through.

Update: Initially I was going to get two 5 watt chargers but I needed adapters too so I ended up getting the Mophie from Apple. I have no idea if I am getting the full 7.5 but it seems fast enough. The Mophie is a solid charger but a little on the small side if that matters. It comes with the wall adapter. I love the convenience and so does the hubby. We are sharing just the one.

Am I the only one experiencing marks behind my phone when using the mophie charging base? Using it, my phone becomes warm and it leave marks behind my phone. (I am using a case and the circle pad mark shows)....

I have a Mophie. When using a TPU case, circles showed up. I was able to wipe them off. I placed a microfiber cloth, folded to roughly the size of the charger, over the charger. It worked fine, no marks. I'm sure the glass back of the phone without a case would not be marked.
