Gotta say it still retains his classic style that hasn't deviated much. Really like "All of me"! :)

All Of Me is a great song and I liked his latest rendition of it too. To add to that favorite, I really enjoy Angel a lot.

Agree^^^

Clapton is the best!

And Layla is a classic!:D

Thanks for the stage prompt, haven't listened to him in ages; so, as a consequence, I am just now listening to a few from the wonderful and extraordinarily talented Eric Clapton, and they are: "Let It Grow", "She's Waiting", "Wonderful Tonight", and, of course, "Layla"......

Rediscovering the band that made me want to pick up the guitar: Def Leppard.

I just finished watching all 3 parts of Ultimate Albums: Pyromania, but I'm currently digging Animal, Gods of War, and Rocket, the latter 2 being taken into detail below.

Hysteria has to be one of the top 10 best albums ever, and that is saying a lot compared to Sgt. Pepper, Thriller, Back in Black, Aja, and a few others.

Ok this is killer news. I remember seeing this guy way back when (1992-93) when they played with Fear Factory and another band I can't remember. I am off to try and find this song to give them a spin!

Devin Townsend Project - Grace..

One of the better (and sadly, rather underrated) Beatles' albums. The real start of the very good stuff (although "Rubber Soul" also showed signs of burgeoning originality). Very good choice, and one of the (few) Beatles' albums I have on my iPod.....

I echo this sentiment entirely. This is where the Beatles started, and transcended their beginnings as just another twee 60s boy-band.

Of all the incredible tracks on the album (including the amazing 'Tomorrow Never Knows') I think my favourite has the be the 2 minutes of sentimental perfection that is 'For No-one'. It's a jewel of song writing, and the French Horn complements it perfectly.

I agree also. In fact, Revolver is my favorite Beatle album. Song for song I think it matches up better than Sgt. Peppers and Abbey Road (although those are masterpieces as well; I feel like I'm splitting hairs).

To a large extent, I agree with you. However, I also rather like Sgt Peppers - it is an album that stands the test of time to some extent, Indeed, just before I read your post, I listened to the immortal classic 'A Day In The Life' from the Sgt Pepper's album. It is as fresh and as breath-takingly original as it must have sounded on its release almost (a shocking) half a century ago.

Actually, I have sometimes thought that the sheer bravura brilliance and hype which surrounded the release of Sgt Pepper's served to eclipse the musical achievements of 'Revolver'.

Having said that, I just noticed that the brilliant and gifted Arthur Lee (of 'Love' fame) seems to have designed (or have designed) an album sleeve for the timeless album 'Love Forever Changes' which may well have been rather strikingly inspired by Klaus Voorman's classic and elegant design for 'Revolver'.

Klaus Voorman, of course, was an old friend of the Beatles' from their Hamburg days, and he also also a partner of Astrid Kirchherr, who had also been Stuart Sutcliffe's muse, inspiration and partner.

The simply brilliant, classy and timeless album 'Forever Changes' by Love, (led by the incredibly gifted Arthur Lee).

This is one of the albums I really love, and it is one of my all time favourites (and not only from the 1960s). Sheer class, and simply sublime.

Any time I listen to it, it sounds fresh and wonderfully original. It blew me away when I first heard it, in the early 80s; subsequently, I leaned that it is regarded as a classic, and musical articles usually refer to it as a 'seminal' and hugely influential album in the history of modern music.

I've been loving Carcass for sometime the 1st Black/Death metal band that I really liked from the start, but the new track is great.

I had DTP Ghost album on whilst on holiday last week perfect soundtrack for the summer.

Pyromania is my fav album and Too Late for Love my fav track from any of their albums. They are an amazing band that has stood the test of time unlike so many of their eighties brethren.
