Amazing orchestrated score, by one of my favorite movie composers.

A follow up on my previous post...

I'm not sure if any of you are familiar with this composer's work, but i think most of you would like it.

Here's a clip from a concert, conducted by the composer. Its a suite of the Nausicaa soundtrack....

Cheers

Listening to Eric Church's "Mr. Misunderstood" album. Great songs and an album that just won't stop. Two years after it came out it is still producing hits and getting new tracks on the radio. Church is an impressive writer and singer. Haven't disliked anything he's done so far. Listen to this on Youtube and you access the entire album.

Pure class, and great choice.

Some years ago, I spent over two years in Tbilisi, Georgia, and once, while there, attended a concert given by Marcus Miller - who was a protégé of Miles Davis. Brilliant.
That must've been an awesome experience.
This album has helped me through quite a bit and I always come back to it.
Hard to believe this album is almost 60 yrs old now...

It was - he was superb, elegant, gracious, professional and a superlative and consummate performer. Actually, it was a fantastic night, and he was a legend.

Another time, I had the privilege of seeing Mavis Staples play live; and she was also elegant, classy, professional, gracious (I met her afterwards) and simply wonderful.
