I'd say it's worth a listen to.Great album cover art, and the musical style intrigues me.
Is it worth tracking down?
Great fuzzy guitars, exceptional lyrics and talented musicianship for sure, plus the singer really let's loose.

Enjoy! You couldn't really go wrong with the old click wheel, but it was a bit dated. Especially when dealing with larger libraries. My new iPod Touch (128GB) has been introduced to my computer's iTunes library (not without drama, and......drama. The latest version of iTunes is a lot less intuitive - and a lot less easy to use than was its splendid ancestor - so, it took me quite some time to marry them last night).
Now, to set about exploring what is in there, and how I find it, as the controls are a bit different to what I have ben used to.

Whats the point of face recognition, new filesystems, 3D touch, etc , etc..... if they can't even get what should be a simple music-library-app right? /end rant
If it's the drive that's failed you could get it replaced with an SSD drive. Not something Apple would do, but I'm sure a friendly IT guy would.Well, I loved the old click wheel iPod - and being dated (I was an historian by profession, after all) is not an issue - remember, I still write with a fountain pen; the issue was the lifespan of the device, and I suspect that it may (finally and with deep regret) have expired.
And, yes, my library is pretty large.

But, you know, I am unkind enough to suspect that the no longer wish to get the "simple music-library-app right", as they wish to coerce/compel/persuade everyone to migrate to the rentier model of music exemplified by the Cloud?

Gotan Project - Club Secreto
It mashes up different styles of music with tango. It seems more clubby than what I previously listened to. At least the first song has an overused beat.Oh, hey: I have heard them live.
I love some of their earlier stuff.
What is this CD like? D you recommend it?

I am not a fan of rap, but I found that song melodically interesting with the tango sound, although maybe you would not enjoy the vocals if Spanish is completely foreign to you.
Qobuz sells it in 24/44.1 Stereo.Well, Spanish vocals are "completely foreign" to me, but I still like some Spanish music, and I love the sound of tango....

24-bit 44.1kHz stereo.Er, what does that mean?
(Sorry, it is incomprehensible to me....)
24-bit 44.1kHz stereo.
A "CD master".
The quantization of CDs is 16 bits and the sampling rate 44.1kHz.Sorry: What do you mean?
I still don't understand.
I dislike using both iTunes and the Music App on new iPhones/iOS. What they nailed in terms of usability with the original iPods and earlier version of iOS, have been lost IMHO. Of all the criticisms I have of Apple these days, I think this one annoys/bothers me the most, just because of the fact that they had it working well and then they went and changed it and made it horrible to use.
