I haven't heard Laetatus Sum before, but I have heard the Ground in C Minor.

Thank you for posting this link - it is a terrific piece, with an amazing and compelling bass line.

@rm5 might find it interesting.

Baroque ensembles didn't seem to have an independent rhythm section (drums, etc), instead, you will note that the bass (which seems to comprise of two theorbos, this is wonderful) seems to have done double duty for both bass and rhythm.
