Another pulled out of deep storage, released in 1979. One of the top local PNW bands that never made it big but owned the Seattle clubs during the time I was into that. I saw them live many times, they even performed in Pullman while I was going to WSU. Beat up cover, survived a water heater flood, cat scratches and keggers but I cleaned it up and it still sounds great. Lots of memories. They had a local tour as recent as 2023. Jr. Cadillac, Classic. Still snappy with great horns.

Have not opened my Rock folder in quite some time. I just happened to open the Supertramp CD—I love all of it!

Supertramp are brilliant, and that is a terrific album.

And yes, I also have that album on my iTunes, and remember when I bought the CD (which I still have) all of 30 years ago....or thereabouts.

IMO, The Beatles are the most overrated band in music history, and it will not be easy to overrate another band even more. The interview, however, is interesting indeed. :)

With your qualifier, “IMO” you are correct, for you. Yet there is only one objective measurement for the top rated band ever and it isn’t close. That objective measurement is that the Beatles are the top selling band of all time regardless of how you or I may rate them.

Then again, McDonald’s is one of the leading restaurant chains. I’m not entirely sure whether “top selling” is even remotely related to “good”.

But I think we digress here. Sorry.
I would say that is very subjective but not unrelated. Best selling can mean either best, or cheapest....and sometimes even both.

I sure wouldn't associate The Beatles with unhealthy crap burgers though.😉
