I love Rick Beato too! I will need to watch this one, I don't think I have.Rick Beato has a rather extensive interview with Gregg Bissonette, who demo's the different drumming styles of just about everybody.
I'm not a drummer, and most of this went over my head, but most of the intros he started, I could immediately hear what song it was (and Gregg's enthusiam was infectious!) May be of little interest to most, but for any drummers here you'll enjoy this!
Nice.John Coltrane's "Blue Train." Possibly one of my favorite classic jazz albums. I went through a Coltrane phase about 3 years ago where for an entire summer, I only played (or at least learned) Coltrane tunes.
^^ HOLY 1990's, BATMAN ^^
I woke up with the weirdest headache - almost like a migraine but not intense sharp pain. It was this dull but constant ache from the center right of my head. Equally odd, the only thing that helped distract the discomfort was loud rock which consisted of
Deftones
Pantera
Type 0 Negative
Tool
Chino
A Perfect Circle
and other face melting bliss that was streaming while working in my home office today.
October Rust always has a place in my rotation.Between this song and Review Mirror, my two favorite Pearl Jam songs.
The only band I haven't heard of in this list is Chino... My god thou, what a lineup.
A little Type O Negative to start the morning off...
Type O Negative - My Girlfriends Girlfriend
I used to love the RHCP but can no longer listen to them. After it surfaced that Anthony Kiedis admitted to having “improper relations” with a 14 year old minor, I just couldn't listen to them anymore.🙁Red Hot Chili Peppers - Stadium Arcadium
some grunge
I love these! Thanks for introducing me to some more new tunes...😊What, no bands from the Sub Pop stable (Hey loser)???
;-)
(the primordial sludge from which Mudhoney and Pearl Jam eventually emerged)
(swingin' on the flippity-flop with Seattle bands before grunge became Grunge™)
(I was a long-suffering Singles Club subscriber...this is my favorite 7" from the grunge years)
(my introduction to Sub Pop and still the pinnacle for me)

And moving on to Chicago, more heavy 90s noise (rockists here might like checking out all the bands that were on Amphetamine Reptile)...
