Yeah, I got to be careful now with the one-click iTunes store setup. Miss the icon by a tad and your in trouble.
I give the developer many e-props for thinking of this.
e. With millions of people starving in the world, approving this app is just encouraging w**kers. You know someone will waste the money and buy it. It is just wrong.
Let's say someone does buy it.
Then $1,000 has transfered from one idiot's bank account to another idiot's bank account.
Please explain how that affects you, or me, or "starving people" one little bit.
Niiiiiice.
How about a screen shot of your homescreen too, so we can see the app's icon?![]()
I am not playing. I really bought this. Next you guys want me to show you my checkbook?Post how u got the icon on your homescreen so we can all be rich!!! Thanks!
Some people are vain. They probably would like this app.I guess you have to buy this App to prove you're rich. It doesn't do anything else.
No.If anyone's wondering: The App is just a picture of a diamond and it costs $999.99 on the AppStore. Do you think they'll take it down?
Likewise.Crazily enough, I can see the market for this.
Pffft... I'll wait for the $1499.99 blue diamond, thank you!![]()
I would imagine so ... for right now.I wonder if that's now the most expensive item available in all of iTunes.
Because Netshare involved an issue with ATTs contract agreement with iPhone users. How can Apple pull something like Netshare without any explanation and allow this?
Does the application crash? It really does make a mockery of the length of time some developers have had to wait for their apps to go through Apple's QA process. If Apple's QA process was worth anything they would be weeding out the junk like this, otherwise what's the point in QA at all?
I saw the white text.crap! i accidentally hit "buy app" what can i do? i dont want this thing
haha jk
Funny!Someone should release a free version of this that looks the exact same, or at least very similar, but uses cubic zirconia.
If they do, this could be a very slippery slope for Apple. As hilarious as I think this is, I really think Apple should moderate the App Store.
Free enterprise. That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen!. Why the hell would anybody pay $1000 for a picture of a fake jewel. What a waste. Even if I was a billionaire, I would not buy this app for the iphone. DUMB DUMB DUMB. I feel bad for developers whose 'useful' apps were turned down by apple, when crap like this shows up in the app store. Apple could have turned this down, and another developer could have had his/her app on the store.
And PC fanboys. Some apple fanboys are seriously on drugs. Who would pay 1k for a screen saver? I can make that for free on my pc.
Oh, I am sure someone will purchase this. The only status I can see this app conveying is that of "COMPLETE AND UTTER ****"
Seriously, how does this carry any status? Firstly, you'd be idiotic to buy it, and secondly, anyone could make the same app and sell it for free.
Apps are backed up on your computer.I would laugh at a person who pays for this app then loses their iphone. $1300+ wasted!
He only has one other app, that I can see, called, "Pro Calc."I think he put it there to hopefully draw attention to his other program(s), which he mentions in the description. Plus, on the 2% chance that somebody actually buys it (even by accident), he's made 10x his money back.
So you purchased it?Hahahahahahaha......
I just wrote a review for it. I love this app.
It would be fun to see his sales numbers. The real question is, would anyone really be impressed if someone showed them that they spent $999 on a picture of a red diamond? Or would they just think that that person is pretty dumb?
On the other hand, the developer is pretty smart for thinking of this and actually getting it approved. Hopefully he'll make some coin off of people's stupidity.....
As I mentioned above, the listing is not fraudulent or misrepresents the product. And as long as it doesn't crash. How did this get through the so-called vetting process? - I mean seriously.
Do you know what I think - if it's not a physical 'threat' to the iPhone OS, Apple are letting it onto the App Store.
No kidding.Yeah, I got to be careful now with the one-click iTunes store setup. Miss the icon by a tad and your in trouble.
Sure. Why not?I am not playing. I really bought this. Next you guys want me to show you my checkbook?

That would be fun to see as well.show us the screen shot of it in itunes then, if you did buy this--good effort
Exactly.i personally think the app is funny. is it a waste of money? of course. but hey it's not our money so who we to care.
This would become a slippery slope for Apple.as for the comment that apple shouldn't have let the app in. how is apple going to segregate apps?
Question. If someone buys this app, is it bogus?Apple allows this cause they will be making $300 off of the bozos that will actually buy this c.r.a.p!![]()
Since you can use the SDK so well, how about learning to resize pictures next? Geezus.http://img517.imageshack.us/img517/9092/biiitchxw6.jpg
booyahh, i don't play.
