Rather than repair the camera that I have, I'm looking at buying a new camera.

Looking through the different models being sold, I think I might get the Panasonic DMC-ZS100. It's a compact camera (snug fit in a pocket), has a 1" sensor, 10X zoom, and a view finder.

The Panasonic DMC-ZS200 is the current model and it has a 15X zoom but it's $200.00 more and most reviews claim that the photo quality is worse than the ZS100.

Tamron 28-75mm f2.8 for my A7RIII.

Apple Watch 4

iPhone XS Max
I could not hold out on the Apple Watch, so scratch that from my list. Also, I decided to hold on to my 7 plus one more year, so I can remove the Max....but add the iPad 12.9 and the new Mac Mini. :( for my wallet.

Just delaying, probably.
But the new golden MBA wants to get into my hands.
Probably will, soon enough, unless I hear some real bad reviews.

Can't go wrong with a Leica lens! I love my Sony RX100 M6, which has a Zeiss lens, and the quality is excellent. Like the Lumix, it has a 1 inch sensor. For me one huge appeal of the RX100 M6 is that it also has a viewfinder, which I find invaluable. With this latest addition to the RX100 line, Sony has increased the zoom to 200mm (equivalent), which is great for a travel camera. If you haven't looked at the RX100 M6, check it out.

Thanks for the advice.

Unfortunately, the Sony RX100 M6 cost a lot more then a Panasonic ZS100.

They are both somewhat comparable (1" sensor, compact, electronic viewfinder, 8.3x optical zoom RX100 vs 10x optical zoom ZS100) though I would have bought the RX100 M6 if the cost were closer (my last camera was a Sony). I ended up getting the Panasonic ZS100 and I like it so far.

Trying to keep from purchasing "everything or anything" -- except the generator I want to finish saving up for and hook up to my mains for auto-start during power outages. Apple keeps diverting my plans with their offerings. Lately resisting the XR iPhone which I find appealing despite my preference for smaller form factor of the SE. The red one, mmmm.

Today there was a beautiful, sleek black Tesla parked in front of my condo building..... Someone apparently visiting one of my neighbors. Gorgeous car!!

We are on our 2nd. I can't see myself driving another car again after being so spoiled with the total package.

An S and a 3.

Looking forward to seeing what the Model Y offers.

A red dot camera.... Leica CL
Pros: size, mirrorless, design, interchangeable lens (support for M adapter mount).
Cons: price

It is a "mini M".

Still on the fence though.... not sure if I need/want an interchangeable lens system.
