Desire an M1 iMac to replace the Mac Mini that has been running reliably on my desk since early 2009. I do have more recent MacBook Air, that I got to use for work as a teacher, but far prefer using a desktop, and regard the laptop as as a supplementary device. Having returned home to my home country my career is on hold for now, until I get an International Police Clearance Certificate from Thailand, where I worked for a relative pittance for 16 years….. and getting that is a slow tedious process. When Thai police clearance does come, and I do manage to get a decent job again, I’ll let myself have a blue M1 iMac. Right now, as an occasional driver / labourer usually at the minimum pay rate when I do get work, it is difficult to justify the cost.

Looking at shoes as my current trainers are falling apart. However I'd much prefer to be able to go into a shop and try a pair on as I have wide feet and a leg length difference, so need something I can put my heel lift in. Easier to do in person than ordering online. But stores are not letting you try stuff on so what's the point?

Microsoft Surface Pro 7. I actually have it in my card but haven't pulled the trigger. Probably won't. Windows is a necessary evil for me because of work. I have an older Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro next to my iMac for exactly this reason. But I'm a life-long Mac user and have two iMacs, a MacBook Air, an iPad Air, a Mac Mini, and of course an iPhone. The family is all Mac-ed up too.

I have never owned this few Apple product before, not since I got my first iPod anyway. Just iPhone and iPad. Now I’m sort of getting into health stuff so Apple Watch is on my radar. Also the apps on my LG tv keep crashing so I’m thinking of Apple TV 4K (Spatial Audio would be great too).

So that’s 500 and another 200€.

No. Must. Resist.

I’m trying to resist an iPhone 13 Pro max. I’ll resist a little longer. Well at least until I’ve had a few bills come in.

I'm good with iPhone 12 Max Pro. Can't see shelling out another $1300 USD for a device that I don't need. Of course I also don't need a new iMac, but I am getting anxious for the Apple silicon 27+ iMac later this year, so there goes that argument. :D

the new iPad mini, its a want not a need Considering I have 12" iPad Pro.
Like a need a new M2/m1x 16" MBP/27" iMac as my trashcan is basically unusable and the 15" is showing its age.

I'm with you @puckhead193 . I'm also trying to keep myself from buying an iPad mini. I've given Apple enough of my money this year...I really don't need another new device (although they do look great)

I’m ashamed to say I have the 11” and 12.9” Pro’s and got the mini 6 on Friday! Definitely “wants” rather than needs…. (Also got the iPhone 13 Pro Max!)

After my son dropped and smashed my iPad Pro 10.5” which included a bit of chassis damage I’m looking at one of these. Think they’re quite reasonably priced and I use them as a content consumption device anyways so I have little need for a pro.

Waiting for October event to see if there’s a refresh with A15 and centre stage. If not I’ll pick one up on Black Friday.

The new iPhone 13 pro….. my iPhone XS is still serving me well.

also the iPad mini, I TOTALLY don’t need it as I have the 12.9 and am loving it. But my god the mini is adorable.

Haven't busted my own iPad Pro 10.5" but I do want to upgrade from it, and also think an iPad Air would suffice for me. Setting aside money for that and meanwhile resisting the new iPad mini, since my iPad mini 4 is long in the tooth as well. But I'd rather get the larger device first.

Went for it in the end and really happy with the purchase. Screen is lovely and I don't notice the lack of promotion. Really like the design and first thing I did was put a screen protector on!
