Ordered my 16 Max 32/32/1 on October 20th (2 weeks ago). App only says “Order in Progress” and has said that every day since the beginning.

Ordered with student discount and Apple Card to take advantage of the installments. No money has been taken yet. UPS doesn’t indicate that anything is coming. Really hope this arrives before I have to leave for the holidays.

Question for all: Have anybody seen the original shipping estimate by Apple getting pushed back - as in delayed? Or can you trust them pretty much?

Ordered on 10/18. Estimated delivery date was 11/5-9. Shipped on 10/28 and my card was charged. It's been stuck in ZhengZhou, China since 10/29 with no update in status.

Ordered afternoon of the 18th, 14" 32GB, 24 cores M1 Max, 1TB. Original estimate was Nov 5-10. UPS optimistically predicted a 11/3 delivery, but the laptop just left South Korea this morning. Looks like Apple had it right and UPS was overly confident.
UPS says it's "Out for delivery!" (11/5)

My order commenced shipping last Tuesday (Nov. 2) with it being in Shanghai, China. Delivery was then declared for today (Nov. 5) in Winnipeg, mid-Canada. Last Tuesday UPS's system could not find my rural address just outside of Winnipeg (when I was signing up for their tracking service). I've only been here for 43 years and is a well populated road, but UPS's computers have no clue, (unlike Google Maps, FedEx, Purolator, Garmin, et al [sic]), so I went to the Winnipeg UPS Store and asked them to accept delivery rather than me endure the anticipated agony of the UPS driver not being able to find my address, me then having to chase the parcel for a few days, etc. Anyway, today the parcel still seems to be Shanghai-ed in Shanghai where they are now telling me that a non-US customs screening is taking place, plus my anticipated delivery date has been removed. So, noone seems to know and UPS will not, or cannot, provide me with any other information until the package hits Canada. What a crock of disappointment.

Well, there's progress. My order left ZhengZhou, China and arrived in Incheon, Korea today. Today is the first date of the estimated delivery window (to North Carolina) at the time of my order (32GB, 1TB, 14", M1 Pro).

Hey @paulchiu @supaninjax @MJedi @CruiseToGo @Cervontez
I mentioned everyone above from a different thread due to our similar circumstances with orders.

I'm going to post quote my own post from earlier with order details of my first order:

I was so excited for the 16" M1 Pro/Max MacBook Pro, stayed up all night only to fall asleep during the Apple Oct 18 presentation! I managed to order my MacBook Pro later that night. I also ordered a base model 16" MacBook Pro the next day (Oct 19) but the base model MacBook Pro has shipped first while my Custom MacBook Pro (ordered the night before) is still processing

1st Order: October 18 2021 @ 11:36 PM USA
Size: 16" Inch MacBook Pro
CPU: M1 Max 10-CPU, 32-GPU, 16-NE
Specs: 64GB Ram, 4TB
Shipping Estimate: November 10-17
Status: Processing @ October 30 (No Pending Charges on Card)

2nd Order: October 19 2021 @ 10:18 AM USA

Edit: 2nd Order arrived first. Macbook spec and delivery timeframe here.

I think you guys ordered a similar model? I'm based in the U.S.A.

MBP 16
64GB RAM
4TB SSD

Nov 10 - Nov 17

For some reason, the 16 Max with the 4TB SSD is still slated for Nov delivery, while other SSD sizings are all into late December. Like you, I had the 4TB SSD option.
Anyone with M1Max Nov 10 - Nov 17 estimates?
Did Yours ship yet?

I made my first order on October 18 2021 @ 11:36 PM with an Apple shipping estimate of Nov 10-17. My second order made the next day has already arrived today even though it was estimated to arrive Nov 16-26. It's November 5th and I have no movement on the first order. I'm in a similar boat. My status is "processing". No pending charges or shipments yet.

Has your shipped?

Ordered a 16/Max/64gb/32/4TB with 4-5 week delivery mid/late November. There was no option for express shipping for me
Has anyone that had a delivery date in mid/late November or early December gotten their dates changed to something sooner? This 4-5 week wait for me is brutal o_O

I have the same configuration and no pending charges or updates as well. Any news on yours?

Oh, sorry. I should've updated my post. I cancelled that order, and upgraded to the mid-range 16-inch. This bumped my delivery time to Nov. 10-17.

I know you mentioned in another post that you had gone ahead and purchased one from a local store. Did you end up cancelling the Nov 10-17 order? If not, any updates?

Mine is Nov 10-17 and have had zero movement as well.
Anyone else order a 16" M1 Max with 64GB Memory and 4 TB storage (immediately following event last Monday) and move to PTS or shipped status?

Nope! We're all in the same boat for now lol My second order with a different 16" configuration (M1 Pro chip + 1TB SSD) shipped first and arrived today Nov 5th.

Any one with a Nov 10-17 or 17-24 arrival date have any movement?

No movement at all. I've mentioned everyone and quoted everyone's posts just so we can update each other on our similar spec'd models. Hope you don't mind ?

Interestingly enough, my son bought the exact same computer, ordering literally seconds after I did, an hour after the Apple Event, and his entered UPS's system last Monday, Nov. 1, also in Shanghai. His went to Korea, Anchorage, Alaska, then to Louisville, Kentucky then arrived in Winnipeg, Canada and was delivered today. It is interesting how differently packages travel with couriers to almost the same location.

I ordered a 64GB /4TB model on 20th Oct. Still awaiting processing.

Due to arrive 17th to 24th Nov.

I check every day and no change or updates yet. Would be nice if it arrived early but seems unlikely. I'm watching a lot of other orders get fulfilled or bump up in schedule from Dec to early Nov. Next time round I may go low spec.

I ordered the 16" M1 Max with 64GB RAM and 4TB SSD as well. It will be replacing my late-2013 15" that starting to show its age. I placed my order on October 18th about 15 minutes after the keynote ended with the same November 10-17 delivery date so many of you with the same configuration received. My order has not moved from "Processing" since it was placed.

It's helpful to see some other people with the same configuration posting they are also still in "Processing" because it's been frustrating to see all the posts from people who ordered different configurations well after and have received their orders early. Here's to hoping they will have a day dedicated to manufacturing all of our 64GB/4TB and they get shipped soon! I'm losing confidence in even receiving mine by the 17th.

After seeing so many posts talking about the 64GB 4TB 16" M1 Max model, perhaps this was the most popular configuration that sold for the 16"?

It seems like base models, or models with 1TB or 2TB configurations are shipping out faster while the 4TB is very slow. No jumps in shipping estimates, and no movement. Good to know I'm not the only one, especially considering that the 16" M1 Pro 16GB 1TB model arrived 3 weeks ahead of time and still no update on my first order.

Edit: I wonder if it's the 4TB configuration that's the hold up instead of the ram? ?

I don't think 4TB is very common but it is
possible apple misread the interest in 4TB models. I'm sure a lot of people who had previously use 1TB or 2TB configurations are now upgrading.

Who knows. Our order could ship next week.

That's a great point. I just hope it's not supply constraints. Finger crossed we get these devices in during the estimated ship dates as opposed to it being pushed back ?

My gut feeling is that it is the 64GB ram that are holding back. And yes, I have ordered one with 64GB. When I was playing with the BTO options, it was the 64GB ram that added the longest delay but I didn’t check the 4TB, only the 2TB.

I cancelled it on Oct. 31. There was no movement at all. I was tempted to let it process to see how long it would take.
