I checked today and still no movement at all. Yea I think maybe it's just our specific configuration causing delays. Speculations are on the 64GB Ram modules or the 4TB SSD modules. Hopefully there's some signs of movement by my estimated timeframe of Nov 10-17. It takes about 5 days from the moment it's shipped to arrive to the U.S.A.

This makes sense—I’ve ordered a similar spec (UK) and am still sitting on processing. I’ve seen 64gb/2TB orders shipping on here/Reddit, so I imagine it must be the 4TB modules that are currently MIA…

I’ve seen people with 4TB models receive theirs as well. It must be the combination of 64gb + 4TB then. Since it’s probably not a common build Apple is most likely prioritizing the more popular models

Interestingly, my estimated shipping date was just moved forward from 16 Dec. - 23 Dec to 7 Dec - 14 Dec.

My BTO is a MBP 16" / M1 Max / 64 GB ram / 1 TB so maybe Apple managed to source more Ram modules for 64 GB or some people canceled similar builds. In any event, I'm happy. :D

My estimated date was originally Nov 16-22 but as of yesterday, was still stuck in processing. Came across this tool for checking nearby apple stores for their Macbook Pro inventory and within 2 hours, found the configuration I was looking for locally. Ordered it for same day delivery and it's arriving this afternoon!

Ordered: 16" Max Silver / 32 GB / 1TB

You can specify your store (currently only has store numbers for USA, Canada, and Australia) and it'll also look in nearby stores. If you tinker with the code a bit, you can have it notify you only for specific models you're looking for.

I ordered the 16" M1 Max with 64GB RAM and 4TB SSD as well. It will be replacing my late-2013 15" that starting to show its age. I placed my order on October 18th about 15 minutes after the keynote ended with the same November 10-17 delivery date so many of you with the same configuration received. My order has not moved from "Processing" since it was placed.

It's helpful to see some other people with the same configuration posting they are also still in "Processing" because it's been frustrating to see all the posts from people who ordered different configurations well after and have received their orders early. Here's to hoping they will have a day dedicated to manufacturing all of our 64GB/4TB and they get shipped soon! I'm losing confidence in even receiving mine by the 17th.
My order finally just moved to Preparing to Ship. However the delivery date has been pushed back from November 10-17 to November 12-19.

Ordered 16" M1Pro 1TB 32GB on Nov. 8. Arrival date was originally Dec 17-24. I just checked, less than 24 hours after ordering, and arrival date has improved to Dec 13-20.

It looks like several 16” M1Max MBP 64GB 4TB models are starting to see some movement. Keep your eyes on the status this week. Everyone who purchased 15min-2 hours after the Oct 18 event with those specific confirmations are starting to see pending charges ? Please just no delays ?

So just curious how long did it take for your order to go from preparing to ship to shipped? I have a hard time believing its going to sit in preparing to ship for three weeks plus.

Spec is 16 inch Max 32 gig / 2 tb.

My M1 Max 64GB/4TB has gone from Preparing to Ship to Shipped. It took less than 24 hours for that to happen and maybe even closer to 12 hours. Apple says it will be delivered on the 19th (the last day of my revised delivery window) while UPS is saying the 15th so we will see who is more accurate. Seems like what I've seen in these forums it might be closer to the Apple date. Somewhat interesting (or maybe not) is that my only option at time of ordering was standard delivery, but it is being sent UPS Worldwide Express, which according to the UPS website is two days. Of course as we've all learned, it's now time to play the ZhengZhou waiting game and it will depend how long it gets stuck there.

Mine just shipped today, too! According to Apple, it will be delivered tomorrow, but the UPS tracking number they have doesn’t pull up any information on the UPS website or app.

@supaninjax @tombstone1881 @CruiseToGo @cervantes2784

I have great news!

I just got a notification of a pending charge from Apple for our similarly spec'd models. YES! So excited to see some movement! It looks like all of our models are shipping quite soon. I know paulchiu's order has already shipped after reading the other thread.

Get ready boys, our MBPs are on the move! ?

Edit: Order status is now "Preparing to Ship" and arrival date has moved from Nov 10-17 to Nov 12-19. I chose standard delivery, but Apple has shipped Express.

No movement on mine yet (ordered my space gray 16 Max/32/32/1 October 20th heading to the northeast U.S.).

I think Apple is annoyed with me for bugging them now hoping for any kind of update.

I’ll expect some news by Saturday but hitting that 3 week mark with no word whatsoever is disheartening. Especially with so many here now getting shipment notifications.

Was this your first time ordering online? This is my 5th time. The last time I ordered online was for my current MBP since I almost always do custom configurations and it took 1 1/2 weeks to arrive from China, it was pretty fast. I never contact Apple for shipment status or delays, since I'm paranoid that it would delay the shipment further.

This is the longest I've ever waited for a MBP order from China, almost a month. My second order arrived in about 3 weeks. The most I've ever waited prior to Oct 18 was 1-2 weeks.

No, ordered an iPad Pro back in 2020 just as COVID lockdowns and work from home were in full swing. There was a long wait with no word then too.

I’m replacing my mid-2009 MacBook Pro. It’s really really time to get a new one and I’m frustrated at staying patient and having no updates.
