My 14" (Max 10c/24gc/32G/512G) ordered on October 23rd is still stuck on "Processing" with an estimated delivery dates between 11/30 and 12/07 ... however my card has been charged yesterday evening ... maybe it's gonna get here earlier than I expect it.
I think you should get it on around 20th Nov

48 Hours, but it was not shipped in reality. My computer looks to be in Eindhoven, Netherland but it does NOT move. In reality it is somewhere between China and so. When it arrives in Europe I receive the real tracking number.
Did you received the tracking number by mail or text message?

Mine has not left Shanghai since the original update on November 10th that it shipped and my November 15th has been replaced with “Check back tomorrow for an updated delivery date”. Very frustrating that UPS cannot get a common shipping schedule for everyone. Some fly through and are delivered early, some sit for up to a week with no update at all.

I'm in the same situation. Shipped on November 10th (the 9th here in the US) and hasn't left Shanghai. I'm just hopeful it goes straight from Shanghai to Korea and not to ZhengZhou just to sit there another few days. I suppose the earliest we could possibly see movement is later tomorrow when it's Monday in Shanghai. What's frustrating about this is that it seems that people who have had theirs shipped via FedEx don't seem to have the problem of getting stuck on China. Makes you wonder if it's then a UPS thing and not necessarily a customs thing? At least once it gets out of China, many people are receiving them within a day or two. At least it helps to know others are having the same experience.

Placed my order on B&H on Oct 22. Still says backordered... no ETA. Saved $250 by not paying the sales tax.

The Shanghai and Zhengzhou taxi is strange. Some people's orders in Zhengzhou has shipped directly from there to Korea, Hongkong, or Japan before moving to Alaska then Kentucky. I've also seen tracking screenshots where it starts at Shanghai, moves to Zhengzhou, then back to Shanghai and then flies to Korea.

I think Zhengzhou might be a holding point to clear customs prior to shipping even though my second order cleared customs right in Shanghai. Not entirely sure what the logistics is for Shanghai vs Zhengzhou. I did notice though that iPhone 13 orders seem to have more Zhengzhou purgatory, although there's been a handful of MBP launch orders who also went through Zhengzhou.

Also, not sure what determines if it ships from Zhengzhou directly or back to Shanghai to their international airport.

At most, I think I'll be waiting a week. So Apple's estimate seems more accurate vs UPS. Maybe Apple knows if an order is going to head towards ZhengZhou vs Shanghai. UPS updates change day to day ?

UPS Express estimates a 1-3 day delivery but man... it seems like 1 week is more realistic than 3 days. Not sure either if UPS Express ships on weekends vs weekdays ? Ah well ?

Edit: Estimated Delivery Update

So, my order is finally in Incheon, South Korea. The Zhengzhou purgatory only lasted the weekend. UPS has updated the delivery from Nov 15 (today) to Nov 16.

UPS flights drop dramatically over the weekend.

I believe my item will be on UPS99. It will be leaving Korea for Alaska in 3 hours. Hopefully we got some pallet buddies ?

Congrats, mine still shows stuck in Shanghai this morning. Calling UPS just gets me “we expect delivery on the 15th” when I ask what they are basing that on they can’t tell me. I have 100 pounds of electrical gear that shipped UPS ground that has moved from Oregon to Texas in less time than my MacBook has been sitting in Shanghai!

Definitely congrats CoffeeMacBook! That’s great news that you’re out of purgatory. I’m with fly2work with mine still stuck in Shanghai even though it shipped out a day earlier than CoffeeMacBook’s. While I expected these standstills I have to say I’m starting to get pretty frustrated. Basically mine shipped on the 10th (the 9th in the States) and basically hasn’t moved for 5 going on 6 days. This whole launch has been a complete mess. Maybe I’m not reading posts correctly, but it seems like those who have had theirs shipped FedEx haven’t had this issue of getting stuck in China. Anyway, I was really hoping to see some movement once the weekend was over in Shanghai, but the wait continues. Apple still shows delivered by the 19th, but that is the last day of my updated window so I’d expect that’s what they would show.

I know the feeling! I kept busy over the weekend with holiday decorations and other work (backing up my current MBP) ? I'm going to do a clean install instead of using Migration Assistant just to avoid issues with Arm Silicon. Hopefully there won't be any issues with trade-ins, and I'm a bit worried about that part there's another thread regarding people having trade in issues ?

When I use to live on the east coast and the west coast, Apple would send me products via FedEx. Now that I'm in the middle of the country, it's the first time I've had Apple ship me products via UPS.

Last friday I saw a few posts of users stating their items have been stuck in Shanghai for a week. ZhengZhou is usually the issue, but I guess they've fixed whatever was causing the delays. I'm surprised nobody is on my pallet ride this morning. I must be with all the iPhone 13 purchases ? Saw a posted an image of Foxconn in Zhengzhou and the Zhengzhou airport being right next to the factory, within a short driving distance and iPhone 13 orders shipping out through Zhengzhou. It was on the iPhone 13 shipping thread, but lots of Zhengzhou stuff happening there.

I have a feeling your orders will start moving soon. I kept an eye on UPS flights over the weekend, there were just 1 or 2 planes. This morning it's spiked up to like 30 UPS planes en route ?

It‘s a painful wait this year. I don’t know what’s going on with Shanghai delays but on some other threads, I read that the wait times are getting longer. Not sure what that’s about at all. Zhengzhou had delays around August and September due to flooding, also Foxconn was short 200,000 workers and that was causing delays. Their facility is up and running now, but it caused massive delays for the iPhone 13 which are still ongoing. Hop on over to the iPhone shipment threads for all the stories ?

I think we’ll start to see some movement through this week, there are loads of UPS planes flying this morning ?✈️

They decided to update my delivery window for my SG 16” 32/32/1 from November 18-26 to November 29-December 6. Ordered October 20 heading to the northeast U.S.

It literally never gets better. ?

I caution all who are having to deal with UPS, in Canada at least, ... never contact Customer Support to do anything like changing the delivery address. I did, and the UPS agent(s) assuring me twice the address change (from outside Winnipeg to a UPS Store in Winnipeg) would happen and a day or two later, did occur. The UPS My Choice app indicated that there was a deliver address change yet displayed just my town name (not my full address), whereas it should be showing the UPS Store name and address. Delivery was to be Nov. 10 and the parcel (my M1 Max) did arrive in Wpg. at 7:30 a.m. but seemingly UPS could not get it to their own USP Store 4 miles away by end of day. They now show on their app that delivery is tomorrow, the 12th *to my home address*. Never believe what UPS are assuring you that they will do, or have done. 11 days from Shanghai. My son's exact same configuration computer took the same route in 4 days, but with no UPS Customer Service "help"/intervention. Lessoned learned, in spades.
Just to add to this continuing saga, after UPS telling me that delivery would be on Friday, Nov. 12, then on Saturday the 13th, they today, Nov 15th, tell me that the last product scan their system have is Nov. 10th. I am directed "to start a package investigation" and asked me to answer about a 20 question document to commence that process. So ... the computer is now 'lost' in UPS's package handling facility.
Well ... I decided to get this investigation going in the right direction (from front to back instead of in reverse) and immediately contacted Apple Support (here in Canada). Apple sent it with UPS and they have the required information and they should be chasing the problem.
Am I EVER happy with Apple's apparent eager and proper support; they will immediately investigate the delivery and, if necessary, promptly, priority order a new computer and express ship it to me, perhaps by FedEx. I should have a new computer in two weeks after their investigation is done, which should take no more than a week. Apple have told me to totally ignore, and to do absolutely nothing with UPS, unless they are actually delivering my computer to my door in the coming days. Apple is taking over the investigation, and I'm happy once again.
