Ordered the standard config 14 inch macbook pro on November 2nd..still shows processing..nothing has been charged on my apple card..

Its already november 24th so honestly dont know what is going on this is my first apple order
I to purchased mine on November 2 and today my credit card was charged. Still in process though. Now pending date between December 1 and December 6. For me still nothing..no balance on my card..mine is just the standard config so really dont know what the heck is going on..to me this doesn't seem normal but I dont know, Ive never ordered from apple before maybe this is normal
interesting detail (or maybe I’m going crazy). If you go to your order status, some of the Bulitin points of your order configuration change order. For Ex. Ram might be at the bottom of the list, then tommorow it shows at the top.
could this be building of parts? if your ram was showing at the bottom and now shows the top. Does that mean your computers ram has been built and ready to be put together?

16" M1 Pro 32GB 1TB ordered evening of Nov 8; initially showed arrival date of Dec 17-24
Less than 24 hours later, arrival date improved to Dec 13-20
A few days later, improved once again to Dec 9-16
I opted to pay through PayPal (cash balance + debit card tied to that account). A "pre-authorization" hit my PayPal account early morning of Nov 22; no change in order status.
Early morning of Nov 23, order status changed to "Preparing to Ship", still with an arrival date of Dec 9-16. As of late afternoon Nov 24, my bank still shows payment as Pending, and no changes to order status.
I figure I shouldn't bother getting excited for a few more days as I await a change to "Shipped" and thereafter, actual movement with UPS/FedEx. Imma chill for Thanksgiving and the upcoming weekend. Won't start banging my head over shipment until next week, hahahahaha. ?

I'm waiting for a custom MacBook Pro 16 (64 GB, 24 core GPU, 1 TB SSD). I ordered it on November 12th, from the beginning is showing six to eight weeks to arrive.
Currently, ,my order is still in processing status. Is there any way to change the configuration without having to cancel and reorder again? I'm having seconds toughs with the GPU, maybe is better to go for the 32 core GPU.

This is a good one. I ordered a M1 Max 64GB w/ 4TB SSD on Launch Day, Oct 18. It shipped on Nov 18th, on the last leg of delivery, at the nearest UPS CC facility the laptop is lost.
I had out for delivery notifications from UPS on the 20th of Nov. They never delivered that day, I also didn't pre sign for it as it's too expensive of an item. They rescheduled for delivery on Monday, then changed to we will update you tomorrow for 2 days straight.
Opened a claim with UPS and Apple, Apple put a replacement order for the laptop which I was told is expedited, Expected arrival Jan 14th. Hoping they find the original so I can get it a bit earlier. Fun times!

Nope. You’ll have to re-order again after you cancel this order. A big decision to make
I have talked to many Apple people. No one knows what’s going on, as it relates to the delays. I have YET to get a substantive, well articulated answer. “It’s new”. “It’s in high demand.” “Weather issues”. “Holidays are coming.” To add insult to injury, after having received a non functioning 16” M1Pro on Nov 1 (with AppleCare+ purchased), my replacement processed for THREE WEEKS! Finally, it showed as “shipped”. Now? For two days, the UPS tracking # reads as “invalid”. The best answers come from you all here and at AppleInsider. Really not good. Not good at all.
It's pure nightmare. My heart goes to those that need replacemnet and are forced to wait another three weeks. This production stuff is for the birds. I'm hoping that as time goes on it gets better. It seems that the factories are rushing out the produsts without proper quality control. Makes my Jan 17th - 28th date sound better by the day. To @bjerickson i hope they find your origional Macbook and you get it on time..

Ordered the standard, 16" M1 Max, 32 gb, 1 tb configuration on 10/27 and it finally shipped this morning. Strangely, it shipped via DHL and I'm in the USA. I would guess that since UPS and FedEx are at at capacity, they are also shipping via DHL.

Yes I have the same BTO. My delivery date has not slipped however.
That's kinda what the Apple rep said. Based on what though? Is there anything that isn't based conjecture at this point? If I call or contact UPS, they will redirect me to Apple. And Apple will say, "Maybe its a typo. Maybe it's the weather, Maybe they haven't picked it up yet". Yes, these things were actually said to me. And Apple agreed. If I contact UPS again, they will redirect me to Apple. And the Apple rep said, going forward, "Give it a couple of days. It's busy. Two holidays are coming up." But she wasn't as optimistic as you. She predicted Monday. I will say this; ANY call or inquiry eats up time and resources. Already they are obviously behind! Apple, UPS, et al are not exactly "surfing the wave". But you think THIS is bad? Wait til China tries to move on Taiwan!
Interesting. Yesterday, the delivery date for my 16" Maxbook Pro moved ahead about 3 weeks but today the order status moved from "in progress" to "preparing for shipment". Curious!
Oof, I ordered a month ago exactly (25 October), but mine still says 29th Nov - 6th Dec. Although, 2TB Space grey and still processing. hopefully doesn't delay but guess likely will.
I’ve never seen DHL Express as a shipping company for my Apple products but I just got a shipping date for my MacBook Pro from them. I hope they deliver it successfully and I have no issues. Anybody else have DHL as a shipping company for your Apple products?
