Two different posted dates from Apple:
"Arrives Dec 8 - Dec 15"
"Arrives Mon Dec 06"

UPS is even more confusing.
First date posted (after three days of invalid #) was Mon Dec 06
Then it changed to Fri Dec 3.
Then it QUICKLY changed to what it says now: "The delivery date will be provided as soon as possible."

As I mentioned, it hasn't changed, at all, since the 27th. Remember, this is "expedited".

When I go online to the Apple Store, ANY "Build to Order" doesn't arrive til late December.
Not even iMacs or Mac Mini's; Mac Silicon OR Intel.

You might have excellent luck on the Apple Refurb site. Currently out of M1 iMacs and M1 Mini's, but lots of Intel configurations and a handful of upgraded M1 Macbook Pro's and Air's; expressed delivered in one day ...
How are you able to track on UPS without tracking number provided by Apple?

Ordered 16" Macbook Pro M1 Max 2TB on November 9 with 3 Apple Gift Cards. Yesterday, November 29th, says preparing for shipping. Date of delivery has still not changed from Dec 9th-16th though initially, it said something like Dec 18th-24th or so. Hoping it will come a little earlier!

Edit Dec 1: Macbook Pro 16" has shipped! It's in SHANGHAI CN now and scheduled for delivery on December 10th.
My order seems to be sailing along now. It's in Oakland California as of 3:16 am today. Only spent a day in Shanghai and then to NARITA-SHI JP. Apple still lists it as delivering on the 10th but FedEx says the 7th. Looks like it may get to me a day or so earlier. I've generally had good experiences with FedEx. We'll see.

Mine has finally moved to preparing to ship. Reading your posts though is making me fear that for it to be with me for the 7th is ambitious.......

Tracking # was provided, but marked by UPS as invalid. After a few days, it finally registered. I don't screen shot it for obvious reasons. But the main point, is that even today, it sits in Shanghai. Since the 27th. Expedited. The Shanghai times and dates are 13hrs ahead of EST. And for the record, that is the estimate Apple set the moment the machine was shipped - the 3rd. So they are spot on with me and still a week ahead of the estimate I got upon my order.

Unexpected tracking activity with movement put of Shaghai! Yesterday, the Dec 3 delivery date was removed from UPS tracking and replaced with "the delivery date will be provided." I figured it'd be stuck in Shanghai for a while...but I just checked and it shows this. Good sign, right? Still no delivery date showing; still says delivery date will be provided, but hey, movement!

Mine's somewhere in North America at last...

Ordered November 5th. 16" Max w/32 GPU cores, 32GB RAM, 512GB SSD. Original Apple estimate of December 17-25th for deliver, thought I'd get a nice Christmas present for myself. Then Apple moved the delivery estimate up to December 13-16. Card charged on Monday, label created on the 29th, and final delivery update says December 8th.

Anxiously tracking FedEx flights leaving Alaska...Would be nice to get it before the 8th so I can set it up and take it to a work site next Wednesday.

I called UPS. I explained my situation, and was referred to UPS international. Why is my computer in Shanghai for nearly a week? Guess what the UPS International representative told me? After putting me on hold for a minute or two, he came back and informed me that he CAN'T LOCATE THE PACKAGE!!! He said an investigation needs to be started. And I am the one who needs to start it. He said I need to (you guessed it) call Apple. I asked three times, "So you're saying I should NOT expect delivery of this package?" Three times he plainly said "No! It's untraceable. It's gone..." Another half hour later, having talked to two Apple reps, I was told that an investigation is now being opened, and that "hopefully" an Apple supervisor will call me in less than 24hrs. I asked what department the Supervisor would be from, and she said, no department in particular. Just someone higher than her...

I was completely surprised. The UPS Rep was insistent. I was expecting "Mr. Tim, we have a delay in the queue out of Shanghai. Expect a week delay..." You know? Something like that. But he was emphatic. It's gone. Untraceable. No way will I get shipment. We'll see. It still shows as being in Shanghai. Looking at your story and others, I am hopeful. We'll see... Thanks for your reply...

Definitely. They are a mess right now. Seriously I would bet money you get a scan before too long here. Like I dont trust all the reps to even know what database to search or to accurately report what they're seeing. Maybe call back again and talk to somebody else.

The lack of ANY information that passes the reliability test has been astounding; from both Apple AND UPS. I STILL am unsure as to what policies Apple has to deal with a situation such as mine: customer receives a DOA product. The automatic response was to have me initiate procedures designed for INTEL processors. Even though I explained multiple times. And once they understood that indeed it WAS a DOA product, the automatic response was to assume it was the fault of UPS. A tech person even stated that. I had to send copious photos of the shipping box, and package. But three weeks processing? And now this? And Apple still insists they do not have production problems. All this being said, I will NEVER by a device that runs Microsoft OS. I’d endure this again to get an Apple product. ESPECIALLY these new ARM based processors.

Well I knew something would happen with FedEx. My Macpro is now delayed due to “Clearance Delay - Import” but it says it’s being delayed today at 5:00 am. It’s just 12 am here now lol. Delivery date of Tuesday has now changed to Pending.

@HopeWV that sucks! I am also stuck with my M1 Max. Ordered on 21th October. Originally it was supposed to be delivered between 25th November and 2th December at the latest. For 4 days now there are no updates and UPS says every time something different where the shipment is and none of it makes sense. I can't get rid of the stupid feeling that they have lost my package....
