I bought the case directly from Sena when the XR came out last month. It is probably out of stock due to Black Friday. I don't use the case every day but it has held up well and somewhat still looks brand new. Case fits great, has nice lip protection and the buttons after a day broke in and are very responsive. Great alternative to Apple's leather case since they aren't likely going to release one.

Thanks, will leave my order unchanged :)

Good. It's hard to tell around here sometimes.

She could get a pretty nice case for the cost of a watch.

Over the years the amount of cases I’ve bought and had to return or put in the bin because they turned out trash would have easily paid for a Series 4. There’s a lot of rubbish cases out there even at a decent price.

I’ve got a nice Mujjo leather case that I like. But would also like a white silicone case. So far I’ve found nothing. How hard can it be!?

What I really want is a case for my Xʀ like the one I had for me 6s - hard matte plastic and it didn’t have cutouts for the buttons and port, instead it just had those sections totally missing, I’ll take a photo when I get home if anyone can find an Xʀ version I’ll be very grateful!

I tried the white silicone and ended up returning it for a leather case. I’ve had three of them now and I have yet to find something nicer.

IMHO the Apple leather cases are one of the best iPhone leather cases you can buy and worth the money. Mujjo are just as good. One of the problems is that finding a good case that you like can be so time consuming.

I want a while silicone case so I can mix it up with the leather. It’s an alternative and not a replacement. I’ve tried 3 white silicone cases for the XR and had to return them all. Now I’m not sure I can be bothered with all that now especially with Christmas coming up - a busy time for me.

Yeah, I really can’t understand why Apple chose not to make cases for the XR but they’re really missing out on a lot of sales because of it.

hello everyone,

i've been through this thread looking for options for my new Xr

jeremydc posted a couple cases without sides that keep to a minimum the added width of some other cases

in post #113 there is a pic of a case the user picked up in china with 'naked sides'

anyone find this case or similar available in the us market?

I don't necessarily need it to be completely naked on the sides but it's seems like a good design if they kept it narrower where your hand is inclined to go on the phone...

thanks

I’m using the one it came with. :D

Edit: Take that back, just ordered the Apple clear case.

Edit again: I just don’t like cases. Period. So back to none.

I just got my new iPhone XR yesterday. Last week I ordered the Mous Limitless 2.0 with the Walnut back so I would have it when I get my iPhone. It looks and handles great, fit is excellent. I also had them install the Belkin tempered glass screen protector at the Apple store. The combination works great together.

Very interested. You have pics? Bout to order one but was afraid it would be too wide. Limitless that is

Liking both so far. The case is exactly like Apple’s silicone case but cheaper and no branding (which I like). Nice fit and grippy.

Super late but can I get that wallpaper?

just a smear that wiped off not scratch in bottom right but

its the spigen liquid crystal

This a finger print magnet? I got the ultra hybrid clear but it looked awful after ten seconds due to finger prints

So far my favorite cases are... the Caudabe Sheath, Mofi cases (I don't know the name, it's half silicone and half fabric), and the Nilkin Nature Case (It's so thin and cheap for $4).

My least favorite case is the Spigen Air Skin. It's actually thicker and wider than the cases I listed above.

Bought a Caudabe Synthesis and like it, but it the back is not nearly as see through as I thought it would be. Was hoping to see a little of my XR Red through the back but it just looks like an all-black case. I just ordered a UAG Plasma Ice and hopefully that will show off more of the red.

Huh? The Spigen Air Skin is extremely thin and definitely not thicker then the cases you listed above. It’s even thinner than the Totalee cases in my experience.

Is the bottom open? Or is it a full coverage case.

......Was going to order the caudabe but I want to be able to see my blue phone.

I just want a clear case that doesn’t add a ton of bulk. Doesn’t get the awful rainbow effect, doesn’t feel like I’m holding a bar of wet soap but actually provides some drop protection.......
I'm seriously considering the XR and if I get one it will be the blue as well. The biggest thing holding me back how tough it is to find a case that doesn't completely hide the color of the phone (ie else, what's the purpose of getting a color) and adds at least "some" shock protection. The problem that I have with most clear cases is they tend to be finger print magnets, scuff easily, yellow over time, etc... I haven't come up with a solution yet! If one gets a black XR there are lots of choices but for one of the colored XR's...it's a real problem!

One option is to use the phone (caseless) and get AppleCare + to cover any accidental damage! I'm considering this option!

If I find one I'll be sure to let you know,

I've got clear cases, spigen don't tend to yellow over time so I don't worry about that, but the clear ones are just total finger print magnets, they look awful after ten seconds of being on the phone.

I got the super thin clear ESR case which has the dot matrix thing, so clear, no finger print issues, but it's thin so zero drop protection.

I got the spigen clear glitter case which isn't a finger print magnet and adds what seems like some decent drop protection, but it's got glitter in, so somewhat takes away from the colour of the phone.

Thanks! The clear ESR case sounds interesting. It might be one step up from my thought of going totally "Caseless" and relying on AppleCare+ for any accidental damage.
