Just curious what the actual feel of the Loopy Case is? Does it feel like hard plastic or rubbery feel? I know with the loop, the grip doesn’t matter..but was just wondering what the case feels like.

I know I can wait for Black Friday..but did Loopy Case run specials for Black Friday?

Definitely not rubbery - feels more like a hard plastic, although it’s somewhat flexible. The loop is more rubbery.

I love them. I have gotten so many people hooked. Everyone I know who has gotten one has loved it.

I think they do run some type of special on Black Friday.

Sharing my recent purchase of the Mujjo tan case. I love this case. It has a nice feel and grip. I actually bought a Mujjo case for the XS that I sold and then bought the XR, so I knew what to expect. These cases are pretty much the exact same as Apple's own leather cases but are not like the slippery eel that the Apple cases are. They are almost the same as Apple's old leather cases before the iPhone 6S era. I really wish Apple would revert back to those.

I plan to use my XR for a few more years to come so I will be buying another as a backup. Most likely will buy a black one.

I really like my black mujjo with my red XR. I want a second case though ... probably will stick with mujjo.
the blue mujjo is available now on Amazon but I'm not sure how blue would look with a red phone.

Anyone using the OtterBox Commuter case? Looks pretty bulky but also looks likes it provides really good protection.

Thank you very much for the pictures! This is very helpful.
It looks as if the camera module would be protuding or is very close to do so. Or is the lens protected well enough?
Would it be possible for you to measure the thickness of the case? Thanks a lot in advance.

On my Mujjo leather case the camera is protected when placed on flat surfaces by about 0.5mm.

As @PeteS1963 mentioned it just barely covers the lens. I find it ok though. I would say the case thickness is roughly around 1.5mm. Hard to be exact.

Thank you for the reply.

I'm coming from a 7 Plus with the original Apple leather case. The device itself is 7.3mm thick. Measuring the overall thickness of phone + case it was just under 10mm.

The XR is with 8.3mm thicker by itself. Right now I'm using the Spigen Liquid Air case, which results in 11.5mm thickness, with a hefty front-lip, which produes by at least 1mm over the display.

The front lip looks more flat for the Mujjo case. So 1.5mm (back) + 8.3mm (device) + 0.5mm (front-lip) = around 10,3mm? That would almost put it in the ballpark of the 7 Plus with Apple's leather case, which would be amazing.

I bought a Caudabe Veil XT for my XR. The Frost color actually looks really nice on my black phone. It's stupidly overpriced for a flimsy piece of plastic, but much better quality than the slim Tozo case I had purchased initially. Seems to fit tighter all around, and the texture is much more grippy and premium feeling.

I just wanted to post to thank members for the recommendation of the Caudabe Sheath for the XR. It is an awesome case! It is sooooo much nicer than the Spigen Liquid Air that I got earlier from Amazon.

Can anyone recommend a solid, sleek case that has cut outs for the buttons? Sounds picky but not a fan of the built in button pressers (don't think that is the technical term!) that most cases have.

Could you post some pictures? I’m thinking about this case as well. I have a blue phone though, I don’t know how the frosted case will look on it but I texted the company to ask if they had some pictures of that combination, they didn’t. They even suggested I choose their clear one, as it shows off the blue colour more and adds more protection.
But I already have the Spigen liquid crystal and I don’t think it will be much different from that one.I think it is too thick though.

I haven't seen pictures but I think the blue would look great in a frosted case.
