Agreed. I typically go for the new color every year but as much as all the youtubers are hyping up the color, there's something not appealing about having an eggplant colored iPhone. I feel like it's a color that many will get tired of very quickly as I wouldn't consider it a 'classic color' like the previous blues and greens of past generations.

Currently got an iPhone 12 Pro in Pacific Blue which I absolutely love, think the Green and Blue iPhones are awesome

Tempted to upgrade, would be Back or Silver, think I'll go silver if I decide to make the jump

That was my concern, the band around the phone looks extremely plasticky with that paint job. It looks like someone used nail polish to do the paint job. Watch videos of that model, you will see what I mean.

Agreed. Something feels cartoony about the space black phone. Glossy black frame make bezels appear bigger than they really are.

Yeah. Oh well I decided to go for space black. Purple was looking a little too dull for my liking.
 
I think I’m going with Space Black. The band is the only concern as it might scratch easily. Anyone with a Space Black Apple Watch care to chime in on how durable it is?
 
either black or gold, I had the pacific blue, space grey and silver iPhone, never had gold, but it does look nice

Lol this is truly a “one person’s chopped liver is another’s filet mignon” moment. Eggplant was my wedding colour, along with platinum.

If it wasn’t a deep eggplant, I’d be keeping my sierra blue this year.

It’s honestly the colour I’ve been waiting for. I say this while getting into bed - in eggplant coloured sheets.

Most likely deep purple, black will be the secondary choice. Will wait to see them in person at the store.
