I'm not going to show you the stuff that I carry, because it varies so much and depends on what I'm doing, but here's how I carry it all.
TOP ROW:
Left:
Aunts and Uncles "Fella" leather bag.. It's a new bag that I got for work. My mum wanted to buy me a birthday gift 2 months ago, and she hadn't gotten me anything for maybe 10 years, so I bought this for myself and she gave me the money for it!
Middle: My canvas, everyday bag. It's one of my favourite things. It's not waxed canvas, which is what I initially wanted, but now I love that it's made from thick, soft cotton canvas. However, it has as much shape as a plastic bag, so it's not safe to use it to hold things like laptops, or other sensitive goods.
Right: A
T-LEVEL roll-top backpack (this isn't where I purchased it) that I never use.
I thought a roll-top backpack sounded like a good idea at first because I ride my bike everywhere (I live in the city and don't own a car), and it looks incredible, but now I just find it inconvenient to use.
BOTTOM:
Left:
Manhattan Portage Pro Bike Messenger bag. I have the medium size, and it's enormous --- around 35 litres, or the size of a carry-on suitcase. I have owned it for years!
Middle (two bags): The two bags that are both small "fanny packs" that are around the same size. I wear them both as messenger bags when I'm riding my bike, since my regular bags would shift/swing around on a bike. And sometimes I travel light. They're just big enough to hold my bike's U-Lock, a book, sunscreen, sunglasses, plus a small Moleskine and pen.
One is a
CHUMS faux-camouflage hip bag, while the other is a limited
Herschel Supply "Bad Hills Workshop" hip bag made from selvedge denim. The inside is red paisley!
Right: My
Osprey Raptor 14 cycling backpack. It has the perfect design for everything in my life, and it's only 14 litres. In fact, it's one of the best things I have purchased over the past 2 years. I use it everyday for my bike ride to work, and frequently on weekends. The water reservoir (i.e. "camelback"-ish compartment) perfectly fits my 11" MBA with sleeve better than any laptop bag.
