From that list, I picked wireless charging. I am honestly more happy with my 6s plus than I have ever been with an iPhone, but that wireless charging would be icing on the cake. I realize the argument against this is that we still need cables, etc. but I generally set my phones down on my work desk which already has an Qi pad and it would be second nature to just set it and forget it (Ronco should make these). I don't always plug my iPhone in because I am not constantly at my desk. But sucking up an extra couple percent of battery here and there would be nice, not crucial, but nice. I can also see this tech being great for a car mount. Drop your pohone in the mount, no cables needed, music, gps, phone all play through bluetooth and my phone is charging. This would reduce the wear and tear on cables. RIght now, cables last me a year, max, in my car, which isn't bad, but hey, no cables is "green", right?

  1. Higher definition screen
  2. Either truly scratch resistant screen or flat screen that screen protectors will fit to
  3. Flat camera lens
  4. Screen with better options than finger or current type styli with rubber tips for writing/drawing like the iPad Pro
  5. Better phone hearing quality on 6S Plus
These are in no particular order.

So what features are those? What do you think you'd need to upgrade.

Return to iconic design (the camera bump and antenna lines still look odd to me).

Better battery life on the smaller display phone.

Water resistance. The 6S is a step in the right direction.

In response to sweeping yet vague recommendations like "Total redesign"...

A pony. As long as I'm wishin', I want a pony.

My 6S Plus gets me plenty of use time. I typically charge every two days so I'm "ok" with the battery life. But more life certainly couldn't hurt. What I would like to see on the Plus models is a way to switch the buttons for right hand use in apps like Safari and Messages. I'd like the options to put the back page button in Safari and the button to go back to all the text messages in Messages on the right side of the screen. This would aid a bunch for one handed usage. I'd also like to see the camera updated. I came to the 6S from an Android LG G4. (I did so to be able to FaceTime my parents as my mother has Alzheimer's and I can't see her often as we live about 3 hours apart) The G4 has a great camera and it has manual mode. Not everybody would use manual mode but there are times I'd like to be able to activate it and let me wife take pics for me. She uses a nice camera for her job and the pics with the G4 are light years ahead of the iPhone. I don't care if it has wireless charging but faster charging would be wonderful. It has the same size screen as the G4 but is much taller. I wouldn't mind one millimeter thicker if it was much shorter. And finally, I work around water all day, so having it waterproof would be nice so that I don't have to put it in a lifeproof case. (Holding my breath on this last item, but one can dream)

A design that everyone hates so we can have 3,000 threads about how Apple has lost it and this is the worst phone ever - oh never mind we already have had that for the last 20 generations of phones.

Waterproof, not just water resistance. Can take underwater pic/video, and wash sand/dirt/salt off under sink, just like it's slave, AW.
