Oh, I can believe it. I used to spend far too many hours playing EverQuest and then EverQuest II and then WoW, as in thousands of hours in each. No wonder I have a large backlog!

I only got around to playing Half-Life Source last year and enjoyed it very much. It's every bit as great as they say it is imo.

As for Bioshock, I am glad I never got around to that actually as now I own the Mac version for when I do get to it! I did play a demo on Windows in the past and was very impressed.

I'm sure you'll have a great time with both of these games! :D

I am currently playing Metro Last light, god this game is destined to be my game of the year. It runs absolutely fantastic on my nvidia card yet when I switch to my radeon system it runs like crap. Its absolutely Awesome in the storytelling aspect and I myself find it very very hard to watch or play anything horror. But this game sucks you in to the point where you see shadows when you get up to go to the lou in the middle of the night

I just picked up Counterstrike: Global Offensive from the Steam Store for $7.50! (half off), during a free-to-play weekend. Steam is deliciously evil!

Funny when you stop and think that the game started as a Half-Life mod, all those years ago!

Yeah, I just installed the old classic CS 1.6 now that there is a Mac version so I can take a spin on that sometime. I love that they bothered to port the old classics, CS, Day of Defeat, Death Match Classic and Team Fortress Classic for OS X now. I played those a lot back in the day when they were new. People still do play them too, especially the original CS in large numbers.

I was real happy also to see Half-Life Blueshift now for Mac. I did play Half-Life Source and the Opposing Forces expansion (which was great) but I had not gotten to Blueshift yet. Now I can enjoy the Mac version.

Steam does tempt me often with great stuff now for Macs. :D

Now, explain for me what Blueshift is? And how it differs from Source? I thought Source was upgrading the graphics of HL to use the Source engine used for HL2?

ETA: I'm not seeing either Source of Blueshift for Mac on the Steam Store. Just showing the Windows version.

They updated the original Half-Life to use the Source Engine for some graphics improvement. It actually is not a full makeover but looks better than the original game did. They did not do this makeover for Opposing Forces or Blue Shift. Blue Shift is the third and final expansion to the original Half-Life game.

Here is the page for Blue Shift where you can see it is now a Steamplay title, playable in OS X now too along with Opposing Forces. :D

Hmm, it didn't let me add the link to the Steam store page for some reason. But if you check the Steam Store for "Half-Life Blue Shift" you will see it is available for Mac, etc.

League of legends. Late to the party but the Mac client they released inspired me to try it - I'm hooked!

I'm currently playing...
- League of Legends - once a day for the bonus ip lol
- Diablo 3 - started a monk
- Borderlands 2 - started downloading it
- Starcraft 2 expansion - once the price drops

I'm playing a pokemon rom called light platinum. Its pretty cool. In addition to that I play dayz and smite a lot. If I'm bored I'll play total war shogun II.

Currently on my first play through of MassEffect 3 (After completing ME1 and ME2 with all DLC so i can play MY Shepard through all three games one after another)

When i finish it, Im starting ME1 again with a Fem Shep and playing through all three again, for fun..

Nothing else out that i want to play, and i have got until the PS4 comes out with the new Infamous game before i see another game i WANT to play this year.

Bought bio shock infinite, Dishonoured, and many other games in recent months, but i think I have grown bored of first person shooters.

Now playing through Total Annihilation campaign, pretty basic by Starcraft standards but fun.

There's one mission on Rougepelt where you need to capture an adv. radar tower but the random meteorite showers can destroy it within the first few seconds of the mission - instant defeat!

league of legends and DoTA ect are such great games. unfortunately they are not noob friendly. If you are a new player there is no place for you in either game. people freak out if you dont know how to play or do something wrong. the community is really harsh. People take those games way to seriously to be fun anymore. I cant help but laugh how worked up people get.

F1 Race Stars. I picked it up around Christmas and will probably move on in a month to Assassins Creed 3 or Diablo II with the girl.

I don't play games much :p

The most recent games I've bought on Steam are Borderlands 2 and Postal 2.

I'm stuck at a certain point in BL2 and Postal 2 is pretty much only fun if you're drunk or immature.

I love me some Modern Warfare 2 though. Been playing that multiplayer for YEARS...

Ive been playing guild wars 2 for the past couple weeks. got every class up to level 25 to test and then played a gaurdian and a ranger up to level 40. I was playing consistently for awhile playing all the time there was so much to do in the game then i just lost interest. not sure why its a fun game but i think i burned myself out. I will go back to it in a few weeks i think.
