It's time to return to Lordran...
And almost three months later I've finally had some time to play it. Where does all my free time go?!

Anyway, three bosses down yesterday (Ornstein and Smough, Demon Firesage, Centipede). But with the WoW expansion launching tomorrow that's probably it for now :p

Edit: With that said, I remembered that DLC is a thing. I never got to play the DLC the first time around so I've just had my first experience with it... and I think I need to grind a bit more because the Mausoleum Holy Beast* is a challenge!

*May not match the official English name (I'm playing a Japanese import). It's the first boss of the first DLC area.

Edit 2: Any experts know what this red crab is? I've never seen it before and as you can see, it completely took me by surprise!

(No comments about my "swing and a miss" at the start please)

so AC/origins is bad?

Its not a bad game, but its a bad AC game in my opinion. Its basically Far Cry with an assassin as the main character.

Its all about open world hunting, crafting, and side missions to level up. And you cannot progress in the main story unless you take time out to do some grinding which i despise and doesn't go with an AC game in my opinion.

Does anyone here play Rainbow Six Siege?

I'm impressed how long it has managed to stay relevant, and it looks pretty good. It's free to play this coming weekend - if I have time, I will give it a shot!

EDIT: I also see it's on sale on PSN right now for 15.99 €. Is it worth spending more money on the "Gold" or "Complete Editions"? Will I be missing out on any actual game content? Don't care for cosmetics, extra weapsons, etc.

Also, is this a game that requires using a headset to talk with other people?

Currently losing track of time playing No Man's Sky on Xbox One. Already had to start over completely do to a game-breaking bug. Now I'm about 12 hours in. I normally don't like crafting games, but I like the slow pace this one maintains. Still a lot to do. I've spent half the time probably just exploring the planet I placed my home on.

Tip: Don't join someone else's game until you've developed some technology like hyperdrive and warp fuel... even if you eventually get the blueprints or have someone give you some, it could break your game's story progress.

If you play "Creative Mode" you don't have to worry about crafting anything and everything is 'free" - including the purchase of a Freighter... ;)

Finished the main story of "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild." Excellent, excellent game. I'll be playing more of it and will eventually download the DLC.

For now I'm taking a break from "Octopath Traveler" and have been completely hooked on "Dead Cells."

Dead Cells RULES.

so currently i just have the NES retro mini system as far as gaming goes. i used to have a ps3 but sold it like 1 year ago. been meaning to buy a ps4 but havent gotten to it. but there is one game that makes me wanna buy the ps4 faster. COD: WW2 looks awesome, another game that looks awesome is red dead 2. WW2 im definitely gonna buy. ive always been fascinated with the ww2 military era. i remember a while back i played a similar military shooter game, i think it was a metal of honor game but i forgot the name. i played that game and i was hooked. so glad they made a remake thats similar

I started playing two weeks ago! It's very challenging. Can't get myself to build stuff as quickly as others, but it is fun. It will take time to get better at it.

Great game! Building is challenging because I've never had to do it before in games but getting better quickly.

I feel like building with a controller is harder than with a keyboard for those who play with a PC. Maybe that's the cause, don't know.

Played a few free hours of Rainbow Six Siege last night. Way more fast-paced than I expected. Probably good fun once you know the maps better, but it’s not really for me.

I should probably try Ghost Recon Wildlands for slower paced tactical gameplay?

What I should really do is try to find a way to play Rogue Spear again!

I hear the controller people use the builder pro config. I'm terrible with a controller so I use a keyboard

Replaying the Super Mario Galaxy series. As good as Odyssey is, I still think SMG2 was better, and is the greatest SMB game of all-time.

same here. refunded Siege asap after a couple of rounds.

Wildlands was fun - but too much repetition kicked in way too early. But I still have the loose idea to pick up my campaign as it was indeed really fun while it lasted.

note: I made the mistake to get FarCry5 soon after I put Wildlands down (haven't played a FC game in a very lomg time before) but it's basically Wildlands mechanics in FPS which got me bored even more sooner. I probably get bored too quick.

picked up Prey for a couple of bucks, maybe that lasts a bit longer :D
