Finished Samus Returns! A few of those boss fights were really challenging. Part of it could be the ergonomics of the 3DS itself. For me it's not well suited for fast paced action games requiring quick movements. A little too cramped for my hands.

Not sure what I want to start on next. I have 3 Zelda games left to play on 3DS. Also been thinking of trying a SL1 run in Dark Souls 3. Or I have a choice of about a dozen Xbox 360 games to get started on...

Finished Horizon Zero Dawn yesterday. What an awesome game, gonna finish the DLC now and then the dillema: what to play next of my installed games...

...Fortnite.

I tried it when it started taking off, didn't really like it, then mostly tried to ignore it until now. Then a few days ago I'm at a friends house, and for the sake of it we try duos with me playing on my iPhone and him on Switch and before I know it it's coming up to 1am. Went home and downloaded it again on PS4 so I could play properly and I've sunk about a dozen hours into it over the last few days.

Making progress on my attempt at a SL1 run in Dark Souls 3. Beat Gundyr on 2nd try, Vordt on 2nd try, that fire demon thing that Siegward helps you with on 1st try, Curse rotted Greatwood on 1st try, and Crystal Sage on 2nd try. I got extremely lucky in the Crystal Sage fight! On my last hit on the Sage as it was dying one of it's clones fired a soul spear at me. I had a fraction of health left. That was very, very close. It might have still counted if I had died right at the end but I'm not sure. Time to try the Abyss Watchers!

I've never even considered an SL1 run; maybe I should give it a try sometime... y'know, after I clear the rest of the backlog...

The first few hours were easier than I thought they would be. Then I got to the Abyss Watchers fight... I died to them about a dozen times last night and gave up for the night. Got it to the second phase about 5 times and managed to get it to half health 2 or 3 times. I can't parry worth a crap so I have to rely on dodging a lot. I can probably get it with a little more perseverance and patience. But yeah, not sure how much more effort I'll devote to this endeavor -- the backlog is calling!

Finished: Torchlight 1 (my Steam backlog is embarrassing)
Started: Titan Quest Anniversary Edition (since I was in the mood for more of the same)

Planning on starting up Torchlight 2 also with my step-son for his foray into a light RPG.

I started with Mario Tennis last night... I had no idea there is a story mode. I just assumed it would be tennis all the time (which it is, but with a backstory).

Kinda disappointed in the lack of box art in this thread :).

Picked up Mortal Kombat XL for the sole purpose of playing it online with my friend in Chicago (I'm in Germany).

Turns out the freaking thing is region locked - my EU version cannot interact with his US version of the game!

I bought digitally, so I can't sell it. Only option to play my friend would be to buy it again in the US store.

Why on earth would they do this? I have not encountered this in any other game on PS4 before.

Those of you wondering about AC: Odyssey - first play through and just went over 95 hours - story complete and I have three side mission markers left. Was hoping that they would have released new game plus by now, looking forward to another playthrough.

I wish they had gone back to more of the "assassin's" style of the game, but I do plan on buying this game, since it looks fun.

I'm currently struggling with Fallout 76. Right now I can't even play it, since it needs an update and the game doesn't let you play until you update. Ridiculous.

That 50GB update was an unpleasant surprise for me - I hope each update isn't the same. You are not alone with the struggle - it is real in teh

Warframe for Nintendo Switch.

Played it last briefly on the PS4 at its launch as it was Free To Play and wasn't at all impressed so just deleted it.

OMG - they have really upped this game! Not to mention better graphics AND it runs on a lowly Switch...

Wow, just wow.

Have barely played Starlink and the game's price has already dropped $20...

Played some Hitman (2016) over the last few days. Great level design, spent two nights just on the Colorado map! Really enjoying it, will probably buy the sequel.

Same here. I too very briefly played it on PS4 at launch, but deleted it soon after. I downloaded it a few days ago for the Switch, and I'm kinda obsessed. I hope Switch players stick with it, so I can join squads/clans and get deeper into the game.

I picked up Zelda Breath of the Wild recently and it's still such as awesome, beautiful game. I really hope they use an improved(Switch optimized) version of the engine on the next Zelda game.
