I am currently playing the "story" mode of Mortal Kombat. It's absolutely ridiculous, but they put so much heart into the dialogue, you just gotta love it! :D :D:D

Which MK is it? I remember playing some MK game on the original Xbox that had a great story mode. If there's something like that for the 360, I'd be all over it!

I think it's the most recent one, simply called Mortal Kombat. It's probably the best, most complete, MK game out there, available for PS3 and X360. I have the "Komplete Edition", with some extra characters like Freddy Krueger. :D

MBP: Trying to play Might & Magic X - Legacy. The Mac client has game breaking bugs that totally prevent any play past about 3-4 hour mark. But wow, that was a fun 3 to 4 hours. Hope they fix it.

XBox 360: Having a go at a complete playthrough of the original Borderlands.

I have Gamefly so they just shipped Thief for my PS4

Ive heard mixed reviews on it so looking forward to seeing for myself.

I'm closing in on the end of Tomb Raider on PS3. I think this is one of the best games I've played in a long time. The story isn't perfect, but the game play is great. The controls are very intuitive; from running and climbing to changing between weapons quickly. The graphics are phenomenal as well, I think it's even better than the Uncharted series. I also like the progress of the characters abilities and skills. I like that every new weapon adds another ability to Lara and allows her to get to new areas in the world. It has good replay value for returning to previously played areas. I find myself enjoying searching the map for hidden items. They aren't just added on like other games to create playing time, they help improve your weapons and/or unlock new abilities.

Is RE: Revelations any good? I'm thinking of getting a 3DS XL before too long. RE: Revelations is towards the top of my "to buy list" if/when I do get a 3DS XL.

Sorry for the late reply, but I quite like it! It has the creepiness of the older games, but with the newer RE4 gameplay. Mind, I haven't played 5 and 6. But I'd definitely play it if you are a fan the first 4 games.

3DS: Nintendo Football Club (or whatever it's called. I don't like football but I love this game!)
Wii U: NES Remix 2!

I tried the "Trine 2" demo on PS4 last night. While it is very pretty, I just couldn't get into it. Not my type of game, I suppose.

Also started Contrast, which had me a little more intrigued. Very unique and a cool concept!

I'll have to check it out, thanks!

The new Injustice game is kinda like MK.. the story line mode is AWESOME.. you basically watch a lot of cool cutscenes and then you go into 1 on 1 combat like MK to move on in the story.

Made by same people that's why :)

I like Trine 2 and in 3D it's amazing....

Contrast I got quite far in and then lost interest because the control mechanics feel broken later ... Just glad it was a freebie on +

Sounds awesome then! RE4 was good, a little different, but good. 5 was pretty "meh". Haven't picked up 6 yet.

I started playing AMY (downloadable game) on PS3 the other day and had to stop halfway through Chapter 2 of 6. That game is horrible - broken controls, annoying characters, really dumb AI, poor dialog, boring gameplay. Just all together a crap game. One of the worst I've played in a long, long time. A waste of $2.

Now I'm on to Deadlight on Xbox360. One of the free "Games with Gold" games last month with my 1 month free trial of Gold. I'm enjoying it a lot. 2D platformer/action game with zombies. Infinitely better than AMY....

Just finished Duke Nukem Forever. I would have felt ripped off for $60, and it had really long loading screens, but there were parts I enjoyed. The Dr. who cloned me dlc was better than the main game in my opinion.

Next is Bioshock Infinity Burial at sea episode 2.

(Xbox 360)

I started Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time on PS3 yesterday.

I was really happy to have it as a Plus freebie...and it turns out I can't stand it. :( It's just so loud, the characters' voices are very forced and annoying, it was borderline headache-inducing to play.

Very disappointed. I love games like Ratchet & Clank, so I thought this would be right up my alley.

I'm still trying to work my way through Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. I love it but I don’t like the timed missions. With half of them, time runs out and I only get a 50% sync. The timing is the difficult part.

You should check out: Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time and also, Into The Nexus (came out late last year). I think you would like those.

I'm currently about 25% done The Last of Us on PS3. It is an amazing game, but it's exhausting because I have to focus and be on hyper-alert. I took a break and am nearly done Brothers.

It was a free PS+ game. It's a simple game: I think they had some cool game-play elements at times. One in particular was the attached ropes and swinging near the end. I found the controls frustrating at times because it's difficult to control two players at once. I'm glad it wasn't more than 3 hours of game time. I'd give it 7/10.

I played and finished Tools of Destruction and Quest for Booty. I also own and played some portion of A Crack in Time. Kinda got stuck in this part where I need to fight round after round in some tournament arena or fly around in space. That arena part bored me and I lost interest. Tools of Destruction was near perfect to me, my favorite of the series so far. Should I try Into The Nexus?

I am about 80% through, "Winter" just started for me. I too find the game exhausting because it's so intense. But it is oh so rewarding, truly one of the greatest achievements in gaming. It is very brutal and relentless, but also deeply emotional. Absolutely stellar story-telling and characters. I know my wife and I will be very sad when it's over.

Who of you is getting MarioKart end of May? Pre-ordered yesterday and am quite excited, first MK since MK64. :D

Ther is a good deal to be made atm. Buy MK and receive 1/10 (Europe) or 1/4? (US) downloadable game for free. I might get Sonic since I have the most interesting ones already.

Already pre-ordered. Wal-Mart has a deal where you get MK, a Wii steering wheel for the wii-mote, and a free vudu-rental movie so I ordered from there. Also, if you register the game on Club Nintendo b/t May 30th and June 30th you get a free digital Wii U game download (SMBU, Pikmin 3, Wii Party U, or Zelda Windwaker U).

Currently I'm wrapping up SMBU, just started Super Mario 3D World, am playing Yoshi's New Island (with my kids) on the 3DS, and finishing up GoW Judgement on the 360.

Lately I've been getting back into GoW 3. I need to complete the campaign on Hardcore co-op (I'm in act 5) and then start/beat it co-op on Insane.

Clash of Clans

And Halo 2 online via Xbox Connect - JOIN US

Halo 1 on xbox connect was awesome back in the day halo 2 was crap....3 not much better and by the time 4 came out it's like who cares.

Call of Duty is much better. I am playing Titan fall and trying to like it but it's defiantly overhyped
