I haven't tried Doom yet but I think it'll be fun
I picked up the latest COD today when out shopping purely because it's £20 new, down from £50. It's not the one that comes with COD MW but I've still got that on my PS3 anyway and I played it to death back in the day.The Black Friday games sales seems to have turned into a Black Month! Some crazy deals on at the moment which is fantastic for gamers
I've got quite a collection for my Xbone S now and only the GOW 4 I got as a present was full price and I know that was even reduced by £5!I haven't tried Doom yet but I think it'll be fun

I refuse to buy infinite warfare. I'll buy Modern Warfare Remaster in a heart beat if it was released by itself but I find the sales tactic of packaging them together to be grimy.
If they never sell it buy itself then I'm ok with never playing it again. Which is unfortunate for me but this is something I feel quite strongly about. And I really really want to play it again especially on my PS4 Pro.
Strange coming from an Apple fanboy but I tend to avoid products that have shady sales techniques. I stopped playing ESO because some of the DLC started to feel like buy to win stuff.
Yeah I'm not spending over double what I paid today for the MW game as well! If I don't like it then I can trade it in anyway as it's on disk. But I like COD so should be fun, will be interesting to see where the campaign goes too as I usually like their short fast paced action game approach.
I heard you need the infinite warfare disk in the console to play modern warfare. Is that true? Its a shame its not two disk because I would buy it 3rd party if that was the case.
The MW game is not on the disc at all, it's a download code that you download the entire game from the PSN store or Xbox LIVE store.
You don't need the Infinite Warfare disc to authenticate I assume ...
Scrap that .... it seems If you buy it retail you do need the disc to authenticate !!!! That's just messed up and nonsensical if they expect you to download the full 45gb and charge you £30 extra for the game and still can't even provide a seperate disc !!
Activision need a kick in the pants for that decision ....

Thus far, I've played Mafia III, The Division, and Titanfall 2, all on Xbox One. Wasn't fond of TF2 and Mafia III was just okay. My favourite was The Division. I might play some more DLCs from it...

How about Dead Rising 4. It's great on Xbox one. It sounds like your into third person action games with those so could be up your street.
You might like Watch Dogs 2. I just finished Final Fantasy XV and enjoyed it.

Still haven't finished it myself. Got halfway in and then stalled ... when I picked up my PS4 Pro decided to replay from scratch for 4k ... One of those games I will finish at some point ...
Made a 'little' progress in Bloodborne. Another game that taken me an age to make progress but slowly it happened ,
Played X-Com 2 today too and also tried a bit of Track Mania but just wasn't in the zone for trackmania and was getting impatient at my crapiness at the game.

When I played Uncharted 4, I couldn't put it down. Easily game of the year for 2016.
I have soooooooo many games, it is ridiculous and the sales have not helped the situation. literally spending an hour or two with each one on both my xbox one s and ps4 i would be over 100+ hours in total and made very little progress into any of them .... I have to stop buying and start completing ....
Between black-friday & jan 2nd alone I must have added at least a dozen games to an already extensive backlog.
Factor in RE7 & probably Gravity Rush 2 before the end of the month and i'm screwed
My (not so) short list backlog: Bloodborne+DLC (need to play entire game again to play DLC), Dark Souls 3 DLC, Demon Souls, Salt and Sanctuary, Uncharted 1-4, The Last of Us, Witcher 3, Halo 2-4, Gears of War I Remastered, Battlefield 1.
My extended backlog includes Elder Scrolls Morrowind and Oblivion, Dark Souls II, Mass Effect 1-3, Red Dead Redemption, and Zelda:Windwalker. I'll honestly probably never get to these.
Considering my list is mostly RPG's, I've literally got 1000's of hours of gameplay here. I'll probably never get to it all.

Do you jump back and forth between those? I can't do it. It takes me a while to get dialed in to the controls on a given game and I would be all messed up if I switched back and forth between games in a short period.

Nah, I haven't touched Far Cry 4 in over a year, and Dragon Age in six months.
I jump back and forth and yes it's really hard to do on open world or RPG games as I forget what I was doing. I have still never finished GTA V despite buying it on PS3, PS4 and Xbox One, I never seem to get more than a couple hours in ....Do you jump back and forth between those? I can't do it. I also often buy RPG games on both PS4 & Xbox One, such as Dragon Age or Witcher 3, and then play as different classes, skill sets and consciously make different story decisions .... Which exacerbates my never finishing issue ....
I finished Witcher 3 on XB1, but only about 25% on PS4 and the DLC was bought for PS4 for some reason ....doh !!!
Similar with Dragon Age, finished inquisition on XB1, and 50% in on PS4, yet never got round to the DLC and I picked it up on both in sales ....
Diablo 3, finished first campaign on XB1- 10% on ps4 ...
I'm a gluten for backlog punishment .. even today I added Megaman legacy and last guardian to the ever expanding list ....
