What were your thoughts on the Resident Evil Biohazard demo?

I loved it, I'm so excited they went the survival horror route this time. I only played the 1st demo but I want to go in fresh but it was a no brainer after that demo.

For the record I'm starting on normal, I'm in it for the story and scare mostly. I might try it on the hardest after I get a feel for normal.

I don't get why so many people are annoyed with the first person view or it being only about this one family...I rather think it's refreshing to have a small contained story than saving the world from zombies etc..

Bless

Excellent synopsis. Picking it up tomorrow. Thanks.

Ya, I don't get that either. But I don't get why the fixed camera angles from the originals are criticized in the remasters as well as they make the experience extremely claustrophobic and tense (add tank controls to that). The demo was awesome - only the "welcome to the family" bit got me a bit worried because it appeared overly scripted (I checked that hallway very cautiously and quite often :D)

You did play Alien: Isolation, right? If not you should have a look at it once finished with Re7 - it plays a bit different but I'd call it a masterpiece near perfection.

Doom like game. It's tough. I'm used to 3rd person resident evil. Graphic is crazy. It's different than other re series.

Doom was challenging for me. Graphically this game looks amazing from what I have seen through the demo. I don't mind first person. Thanks for the feedback.

I'll be most certainly starting with normal, if not easy if it's too damn frustrating. :p But health-regen is one big no-no and I hate that this + limited saves are exclusive to the hardest difficulty. We'll see; hope I can play a little tonight.

Oh yes most definitely, that was my game of year when it came out. I started playing RE7 last night and so far I'm really enjoying every moment of it also it's very intense. I'm not very far at all but the game creep me out from the start and thats always a good sign for me. I don't want to say too much about the section I played but damn this game is creepy.

I don't know how I would feel playing this in VR...*bleep* your pants before you get to the house. lucky thing VR turns the graphics down a notch.

..damn this game is creepy.

lol

I probably get a little drunk before starting.. :D

I adore those games but have the hardest time to actually play 'em, every step takes forever. Just played RE1 yesterday again and damn, you hear the panting, you hear the steps and wait in that corner forever until you decide "**** it, that zombi off screen walks probably against the wall the whole damn time"

We'll see, I just hope ammo ain't that scarce - I hate dodging and run-n-hide style :D

You guys really make me want to buy this, but my backlog does not allow it!

Alien Isolation is in my backlog, maybe I should start this when I finish Until Dawn.

^ I have isolation in my backlog too ....

Picked up my copy of RE7 today, and surprised that Gamestop only got a handful of copies. When I asked about it, the guy simply said that there wasn't the demand for RE games much anymore ... How things have changed .

Surprising..somewhat I guess. But RE 5+6 were abysmal entries overall. Revelations I+II feel like b-tier games already and the survival horror genre isn't really attracting the crowds - see Alien:Isolation too.

Also, strangely quite a bunch of people seem hostile to it being first person..

Anyway, it's a genre where I'm ok with having only 1 good title a year to stomach ;) Just hope that RE2 sees a remaster and I'm set.

Still playing DarkSiders 2, im stuck on a boss called 'Gnashor' he is hard. he's half skeleton snake and half giant skeleton that takes his spine and uses it like a whip lol

So, Halo 5 seemed like it was really short. 5, 6 hours? It was a lot of fun. Story seems to be getting a little too convoluted , though.

Going to start on Rayman Origins now.

Re-bought The Division on PS4...Just have to push myself to find a group to get better gear.

Bought Final Fantasy XV...So far, not so bad.

Still playing COD: Modern Warfare Remaster...I didn't want to prestige, but I did. And now, I want to do it again.

Whats the Remaster like? I haven't had a chance to play it yet!!
