Destiny PS4

Running out of XBox One space, so I took Destiny of that (haven't even played it on that yet), and reloaded the PS4 copy I had on my new PS4 Slim.

Destiny PS4 was one of the first PS4 games I got back when the system was first out and haven't played since (sold the old PS4).

Surprisingly, my character and exactly where I left off was still in there.

The wonders of online gaming... ;)

Whats the Remaster like? I haven't had a chance to play it yet!!
Just like the OG with updated graphics and more cards/emblems. It's fun and it has been the only game I've been playing lately. Pretty good competition, but not as many folks chat, when the game originally released.

If you were are fan of the game, you'll enjoy it. As for Infinite Warfare, I haven't touched that game lol.

Working on a backlog game...

Bioshock Infinite.

And holy hell is this game good. The fighting sequences are fun, the graphics are good, and the storyline is superb. It's really sucked me in.

I gave up on Rayman Origins. Could be because it was my first Rayman game but nothing about what was going on seemed to have really been explained and all of the characters were just a little too weird for me. Just wasn't feeling it..

So now I'm on to Sunset Overdrive and I'm enjoying it a lot more. Another kinda weird, quirky game but at least I know whats going on even if it is a strange premise. Some of the comedy has been really excellent. Last night I fell off a really tall building during a mission and it respawned me just a few feet from where I fell from and my character says under his breath "thank you for not making me start all the way at the bottom" lol, yes, thank you! The only thing I really have an issue with so far is how clunky my character feels when I'm just running on the ground. Kind of understandable since you're supposed to jump and grind on things to get around but jeez my character doesn't have to feel like he's running through quick sand...

Just started Watch Dogs 2. Saw it was on sale for 40 on PSN so I figured I'd give it a shot.

Too my surprise I'm really enjoying it, been quite hooked actually. Reminds me of Assassins Creed meets GTA. I think what I like the most are the different ways you can approach a mission, if brute force doesn't work then you can try to "hack" your way through, or vice versa.

Looks really good on a PS4 Pro too. The stable frame rate, high resolution, and level of detail can really spoil you when going to games with less impressive engines.

It's much improved over the first Watch Dogs. I almost didn't even finish the first Watch Dogs, because it had a lot of issues, but the storyline drew me into finish the first one. The second one really addressed a lot of issues the first one had problems with. UBisoft did a good job listening and acknowledging from gamers to improve the second iteration.

I never played the first one because I heard about so many of the issues. I did a mission that I saved Aiden Pearce (I'm assuming the guy from the first watch dogs) and he seemed like a psychopath from what they were saying which actually peaked my interest some. Lol

Two days ago I bought Infamous Second Son for 15€ on the PS Store and been playing that. Love the action, the Seattle scenery, the super powers... Really really fun game.

Also bought two weeks ago on the PS Store the Metal Slug Anthology and my first bought game was Uncharted 4 for the PS4.

Those are the three games I've got for the PS4 since I bought it last month. Everything together for under 200€.

PS4 was 165€, Uncharted 4 10€, Metal Slug Anthology 6€ and Infamous Second Son 15€.

I'm going to buy also Wolfeinstein New Order while it's on sale in the PS Store for 15€, and I'm also thinking of buying the following:

- Killzone Shadowfall 15€
- Dead Island 1&2 20€
- God of War 3 15€
- Rayman Origins
- The evil within
- The walking dead season 1&2 20€
- The Wolf Among Us 10€

I'm basically looking for cheap games until the better ones lower their prices. Not gonna pay more than 30€ for a game anymore (except maybe The Last of Us 2 when it's released. Only that game. Everything else I will buy for less than 30€).

I'm thinking which to buy of those. Also Until Dawn will bite soon. I really want to play that game. Also Alien Isolation.

Also thinking of buying an Xbox One S to play Forza Horizon 3 and Alan Wake 1&2, plus Gears of War 4.

Plus also considering if Switch is worth it. I love Super Smash Bros.

Right now the consoles are very good in price. Lots of second hand good prices, plus I got my PS4 slim 500GB new for just 165€!

I finished Sunset Overdrive. That was an entertaining game. Completely over the top, goofy, ridiculous, hilarious sums it up pretty well. Clever references throughout the game. I actually really liked the traversal system once I got the hang of it.

The Evil With In is a very challenging game, starts scary and gets fairly weird towards the end. Decently scary, but doesn't touch Resident Evil 7 Biohazard.

Just passed 75 hours on my fifth Skyrim character. Became the leader of the Champions and started the Brotherhood today. An amazing game, cleaned up well on PS4 Pro.

What do you like Most about Watch Dogs 2? I know you touched on the graphics and general approach towards missions.

I'm really really enjoying 'Wolfeinstein New Order' on PS4. Always wanted to play those games but never bought one.

Like it so much I also bought the prequel 'Old Blood'.

I'm playing The New Order on XB1 as well. I'm liking it quite well so far but I'm still pretty early in the game. Just got to the part where you're on the train to Berlin and have to carry the tray of coffee back to your room, lol.
I will say having to press X constantly to pick up every scrap of armor, health, and ammo is getting annoying already.

I'm playing Nioh and it's just awesome. This game is very much souls/bloodborne right down to its core but it builds on that core to make a very robust system. I'm still learning the game mechanics but oh gosh I'm enjoying it. If you're a souls/bloodborne fan this definitely the game for you.

Awesome game (Old Blood as well)! The pick up system seems a bit clunky but it does make the game a wee bit more frentic when SHTF and gives you the opportunity on higher difficulties to no waste a precious 25+ when you're only 15points down etc

Saw that and was a bit curious. Looks quite interesting! Probably taking a closer look once I've finally finished RE7 (which I really like). < scratch that, PS4 exclusive

Just finished Rise of the Tomb Raider (PS4) and the side mission at Croft Manor. Much longer than I expected, and at times I was wondering if it was ever going to end, but overall it was a great single player game. Looking forward to the next one.

Other than that, back to Resident Evil 7 which so far has proven genuinely unnerving. Someone at work recommended using it with PSVR...but I don't want to put myself through that.

Also casually playing Call of Duty Black Ops 3 again with a few friends. IW was too much of a disappointment, and we're actually having a lot of fun playing this together again.

Resident Evil 7, Doom and Uncharted 4 are the only games I have played thus far in the last year without any frame rate issues or latency concerns. Absolutely a joy to play games as smooth as those were.

Resident Evil 7 was outstanding.

Finished Until Dawn. Three survivors. :D

I thought it was good and could have been great. Actually likeable characters would have made a huge difference, and I didn't like where they took the story after the first half.

My wife and I played this together, and we really couldn't make ourselves care for any of those characters. We ended up shooting Emily in the face, just because we wanted her to shut up. And when the other kids died, we were just like "meh". Next time ask Naughty Dog or Bioware how to write good characters!

And the story lost us with that whole Wendigo thing. It would have been much scarier if it was just a psycho killer stalking them. The first few hours freaked us out, and then after Flamethrower Boy showed up, it just got too silly.

I may jump back in to see if I can make them all survive, but I'll probably put this on Ebay soon, while I still get a few bucks for it.
