How is Outlast?

How is Outlast?

Scary... Swear to god, play it in a dark room and ramp up the sound (pref 5.1 surround) and your in for an experience.

For the first time in years I actually screamed at one stage not too long into the game. It was perhaps the first scare moment I've had in a game since the first resident evil with the dogs jumping through the windows.

It's very tough too. Great and free with PS+ :)

Nice! That's the only time a game has made me jump. Tempted to pick it up on Steam whilst it's on sale if it's that good!

Awesome. I just put it in my download list as a Plus freebie. Whenever I get my PS4, I won't even have to spend money on games! :D

Travelling right now, so I am playing Uncharted Golden Abyss on the Vita.

It's pretty good, but some little things bug me about it. It never manages to shake that typical launch title "we have to use all the vita's touch/gyro/camera/whatever features!!" feeling. Totally shoe-horned in, and more annoying than fun. Also, is there no way to turn off those weird card game stat update notifications?? Every time I do ANYTHING, it bugs me with that stuff I don't even understand.

The game itself is good, a nice little Uncharted experience for on the road. It looks pretty, controls reasonably well, and is fun, overall. One can definitely tell it was made by a different team than the other Uncharted games though. Story and characters just aren't quite as engaging, it just feels a little flat in comparison.

Now that's what I like to hear :p

Since I've finished Tomb Raider my PS4 is back to being a Netflix machine. Granted, I didn't give Killzone a fair shot, but I'm not really inclined to go back to it yet.

I might start playing AC: Revelations again, need to finish it before going onto Black Flag (PS4) which has been waiting patiently since last year.

The new Lego Movie Videogame on X1 - not as good as Lego Marvel which I have been playing on both next gen machines (ps4 & x1) as well as my usual Skylander Swap Force again on ps4 & x1.

Also been playing BF4 on PS4 - I'm not very good at it though, as well as Assassins Creed 4 & outlast.

Zoo Tycoon and Dead Rising 3 on XB1

Mario 3D World, Lego Batman 2 and Resident Evil Revelation on Wii U

The third one is very good as well! I thougt it didn't flow as well as U2 though. Story didn't grip me as much. But definitely worth playing, and a top notch production!

Story is picking up. Up to the desert now but the story in 2 was better. The graphics are truly amazing for a last gen game.

PC:
- Replaying Tomb Raider 2013 in NVidia Stereoscopic 3D on 3 monitor surround
- Titanfall Beta - plays great in tri-monitor surround.

PS4:
- Killzone

Still waiting for more PS4 exclusives... mainly Infamous Second Son.

Really digging the PS3 again. Mostly reliving childhood memories playing WWE 2k14 (on sale on PSN). Once my 500GB HDD comes tomorrow I'll install Bioshock Infinite (time for a second play through), DmC, and Borderlines 2. Gotta love PS+ benefits.
