Yeah, they nearly do not exist here in Brazil. The only one being sold that I have ever seen, had a broken glass enclosure. If you go to some hackintosh forums, I've seen one or two users that did remove the G4 Cube's internals and replaced it with a fully functional hackintosh running latest macOS. Quite impressive.

Yeah, that's quite a popular mod - I just hope that no working Cube met its fate for it.

I actually saw one Cube for sale in my country and it's the first one I've ever seen here.
With some accessories (not a display) it's 900€ – ouch.
But it was lightly used and still had the protective plastic films on the casing.

Cool, I didn't know that.

According to Wikipedia only the SCPH-5903 does VCD playback.

As for me, I'd love to get my hands on the Linux kit for the "phat" PS2 and have a play with that.
Getting very off topic at this point, but technically it’s still related to PPC Macs.

AFAIK, you can use cdrdao to write Sega CD, Sega CD 32X, PSX, and Sega Saturn Games. And with my Dreamcast CDI Burner app you can burn Dreamcast games.

What other company has struck out every single time on copy protection other then Sega?

Sega CD/Sega CD 32X - No copy protection at all (to be fair it was released in ‘91), have heard stories PPC Macs can burn games no problem.

Sega Saturn - First revisions have a very easy swap trick. The only other revision still has a single swap method but it’s a bit different timing.

Sega Dreamcast - MIL-CD, do I need to say more?

To this day there is no self boot PS X method like on the Dreamcast, but to be fair this isn’t one either on the Saturn. Weirdly enough though their is one for the PS2 released very recently... Who would’ve thought buggy DVD code would result in this, almost the same thing that happened with MIL-CD in the Dreamcast!

There is an argument that none of this was relevant till after they discontinued the Dreamcast which is real IMO, but in 2021...

Lately I’ve been all about exploiting real hardware with ‘fake’ games! It’s the way more fun the emulation IMO.

This is basically why I haven’t tried MorphOS, I feel like I wouldn’t use it enough to justify the cost. It would be fun to play around with, but I know I would still be using Mac OS way more than MorphOS.
THERE ISNT EVEN A WEB BROWSER IN MORPHOS, OR THEY HID IT in the live version.

I ran a C program on my G5 that was compiled and linked with LLVM 7.1.0 + cctools 836 linker on my Linux machine. Took a bit of effort to get this going in 2021, but now it works.

Ok, so I read a lot about WRP for use with browsing the old web using OS 9 and older browsers on the Mac.. the concept is nice, but I feel it’s not the greatest experience. Are there other ways older OS X and OS 9 browsers can browse the web other than WRP ? Classila has the ability to handle most of the modern web, if we can re-work it to render properly. Strange, a few years ago Wikipedia loaded on OS 9 IE 5.1.7, opera 9, Netscape and Classila. Now it doesn’t work at all, however because I messed up the certs by mistake, maybe there is a chance once I re-install Classila.

Really ? How do I enable graphics mode ?
My Links2 port is a portable app. When launched you have the option of using a text only mode through terminal or a graphics mode which uses X11 and supports many gif/image formats and mouse usage.
