Seriously, 11.1 update comes out today to squash some 11.0 bugs among other things... and now I see many more notifications like this (first notification in the pic). I don’t understand! How can stuff like this get past their testing? Is Apple slipping? This is a x.1 update! Does android have this goofy stuff happen too? I don’t get it. I would’ve thought 11.1 would be more refined and now I’ve seen more notifications like this. I’m a big Apple fan that wonders if they are slipping.

My iPhone keeps asking for the iTunes Store password many times or else won't run the apps. In all this years I never had experience so many problems, since iOS 10 and the stock email app my experience with iOS has been terrible.

Revolve around my iPhone issues? Have you missed that tons of people have major problems with ios11?! I payed for the phone. 1200$. For that price I expect getting a working product. If Apple would of said that iOS 11 would ruin my phone I wouldn’t of downloaded it...

quantify 'tons'.

I'd wager a small small percentage are having issues.
I'm not an apple apologist by any means, but reading a few dozen complaints on a message board hardly equates to tons.

I have a ipad air2 and ip6splus and both are the same under 11.1 than 10.3.3, and if there are differences I don't notice them.

Similar issues here. 8+

It has been really bad for me. I did a reset settings and so far I haven’t seen that show up again. I’m going to report back later today around 8 o’clock or so. That will be 24 hours since I reset the settings.

Maybe give that a try When I post back to let everyone know if it fixed my problem?

It doesn't "ruin" the phone wyd...bugs are not the same as ruining.

It’s been over 24 hours and I have not had one messed up notification. So far it seems like resetting all settings did it. I’ll report back if I see it again. Thanks for all your help!

Did you pay for ios11?? No you did not!! Then you have no ground to stand on and you have no right to demand anything. Go save whales or feed a homeless person instead. The world does not revolve around your iPhone issues.
Try contributing to the world instead of complaining about iOS glitches.
Pretty stupid line of reasoning since the price of admission for "free software updates" is an expensive Apple device. You ever try ignoring threads that cause you such mental pain?

You probably have an isolated issue.
Try restoring iOS 11.1

Hahahaha! Do you work at the Apple Store?

That’s the same thing they told me on the release version of iOS when I got my iPhone 8.

I did a restore and it didn’t fix anything.... ever since iOS 11.x.x has been out it’s been one problem after another!

I was testing 11.2 and it’s a nightmare still....

Yes, Apple is slipping indeed!

Imo, 11.2 is far from a nightmare on my 6s and 5s. Glitch free? No. But I can’t remember when glitches didn’t exist since iOS 6 days.

Considering many others aren't having issues on that level it does seem like it's something different than just an overgeneralized "Apple slipping" type of thing.

Yes, but this seems to be the year I have seen many of my friends downgrading from iOS 11 to 10. It also seems to be the year my phone calls just drop ridiculously often... Not to mention the static noise many complained when the iPhone 8 came out... yeah, that was an over generalized type of thing too!

Like I said. Same old complaints. Different year and people (sometimes)

These kind of bugs have been going on for years. It's frustrating that these will never be fixed. This isn't an iOS 11.x issue.

It’s safe to say that “Reset all settings” fixed the problem. It has been 48 hours and I have yet to see one notification problem. Glad that is all it was. I feel a little better now as many of the bugs I had with iOS 11.1 are gone now.

Would you recommend updating the 7+ to iOS 11 or stay on 10.3.3 ?

Thanks!

I spent 15 minutes with Android Oreo to find out Apple's software optimisation has slipped drastically lately. That's right. Android Oreo is smoother than iOS 11.

Wow what a stupid statement. My iPhone has been rendered unusable by iOS 11.1. Heats up like crazy and battery life is horrendous. MAybe you should realize people have legitimate issues with this garbage ‘uodate’ Before spouting nonsense
