The Children’s Train (2024)- Netflix. Surprisingly powerful story of a boy in post WWll Italy whose mother living in poverty in Naples, volunteers to send him North (along with hundreds of other children), to families who want to provide them with a normal life, even if it is just for a while. For me, an emotional ending.

Was it any good?
I haven't had a chance to watch it yet (or any of my regularly watched holiday movies) between getting ready for Christmas and I'm leaving with my daughter back to Boise, ID as she is going to be admitted to hospital to begin her stint with a trial drug they have had success with in her type of cancer.

When things slow down I'll have plenty of time to watch a new movie and I'll be sure to let you know what I thought of it!
