Two days ago, I saw a sneak preview of Another Simple Favor, a sequel to 2018's A Simple Favor, starring the same actors, including Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively. It will be released tomorrow on Amazon Prime.

It's a fun but silly comedy/crime story with gorgeous location shots. It was worthwhile entertainment.

I hate to say it but I'm kinda soured on Blake Lively and her husband for now...

The Equalizer 2 (2018)- Denzil Washington fits well in strong roles as he kicks buttocks all over the place. ☺️ Now I need to watch the first one.

The Equalizer (2014)- This is an outstanding story, an untouchable man, a good guy, who eyes a tactical situation and predicts how long it will take him to kill everyone in the room…better than the second one.

Thunderbolts was very fun.

The trailer is intentionally misleading.

Is it the best mcu film recently? Only if you are one those people who's been in their feelings about Disney's supposed alignment & that affects your views of their movies. I will say I did enjoy the real subject matter of the movie, despite the short shrift it gets, shows a maturation.

Yes, the asterisk is there for a reason. They don't directly explain it, but by the end of the film you will understand. If the sponsorship of Stan's Tires didn't tip you off before then.

Yes. There is a mid credit scene. Completely missable. There is an ending scene that is kind of long, so make sure you don't need to race to the bathroom. It is important as it addresses a few things from the ending, the recent Captain America film, and a future film.

I wanted to leave a vague spoiler, but the spoiler effect gives the image away. So just remember a specific marvel first film / issue, and you'll get it.

Waiting for it to hit Disney +.

Training Day (2001)- A great story, one of Washington’s best performances. A cop, Ethan Hawke, joins the narcotics division and is taken out to be shown the ropes of undercover work. Washington, starts out as his street smart narc, jerk trainer, Hawke’s reality is shaken, and the day slowly turns into a nightmare. I want to know what the aftermath was…

Some of the scariest stories involved crooked cops, because they represent authority.
