How ugly the moiré patterns in HomePod product photos tend to look (especially at smaller sizes):

So do I. I don't like those mats either, but won't risk ill consequence of not using one. Someplace where there's no mat, I'll even put a towel in the tub and let the shower wet it down thoroughly before I'll set foot in there.

You and @Scepticalscribe make good points. However, I just dog-sat for someone who has a shower mat, and this is where it stayed for the duration:

What can I say?

I'm a bit of a maverick.

Plus, the thrill of taking a mattless shower can stay with me for days.

I'm with you.

I've done the (wet) towel on bath floor drill, as well.

Mavericks are all well and good, but, I wear glasses, (which are, of course, completely fogged up in a bathroom), am not remotely athletic or graceful, and have already, when I was a lot younger, slipped - and yes, fallen - on a wet bathroom floor. Not an experience I am keen to repeat.

No, I'm not a thrill seeker. In a bathroom, safety first.

But, each to their own.

But subtly masked in company, I should imagine.

I have trouble with my horns, as well, but, in the right light, people just assume that it is some three dimensional trick of light, shade and shadow that a Renaissance artist could do justice to.

My tailor dresses them in Allen Edmonds for my late night strolls through Soho with a Chinese menu in my hand on my way to Trader Vic’s. And under my fedora, my hair is perfect.

Any place but here or there....
All the chores I must do when I get home tonight.

And debating if I should do delivery and grocery store run again. It is double the work, but I have access to food not available through the delivery and if I do both, less to carry home.

Goat breeding season.
It’s that time of year again, and so the shuffle begins. Matching up does with bucks, transferring to/from the breeding pen (aka, the Honeymoon Suite), and trying very hard not to get injured in the process.
Lest one have the impression that I’m somehow knowledgeable about goats, I’m not, very. My SO has a herd of 30 or so head of fainting goats; I am a goat wrangler in training, at best.
I have much to learn.

I love many things about the autumn but the saddest thing is when the open air and lake side terraces close for the season. Gives me a melancholic feeling, perhaps if I spent more time in the mountains say snowshoeing or cross country skiing I would feel a bit better- we usually get more sunshine in the Alpes and Jura mountains in winter. There are still open air spots in Geneva in fall and winter though for example a floating bar which is a large flat bottom boat permanently anchored in the Rhone. They have tables on the roof and on the side - and some restaurants and bars have outdoor heaters for the winter. Still the days are too short.

Yes still does, and very nice too. This summer the water was room however.

Edit: water was warm ... screwed up autocorrect though I can't imagine how.

I work with lots of advance users. Where I used to work I thought I was good. Where I am now though, I feel like a dinosaur!

I’m one of those people who imposes on those who think they can keep their ninja Excel skills a secret. Haha.

Ok, ok, I know this sounds gimmicky (and I haven’t been drinking, yet) but I’m thinking to buy a robotic vacuum. I don’t have high standards I just want something that’ll clean up a bit between cleaning service visits.

Am I going to take it in the shorts and regret it if I do?

Oh yeah, will it eat my dogs? That’s a showstopper.

Apparently you didn’t watch Breaking Bad.
You noticed! Pick one: :D
  • A body to dispose of (BB Option).
  • Girlfriend test drives tub. Fantasy option. (Ok, women readers, tongue’n cheek ;))
  • Wife moves in and takes over before project is finished. She was aggravated when I told her, her foot was captured for public display cause someone would notice.

Well it’s Monday. Let’s save time and just assume the answer to any of your questions will be “no” and “f*uck off”.
