In a coffee shop.
I will take your advice. I guess I will fall asleep while reading The Work and the Glory (chronicles the birth and early growth of Mormonism).
Later will post the recipe.

I'd suspect that I'd fall asleep too, while reading a book about the birth and early growth of Mormonism; good choice of reading matter to aid post lunch digestion.

Look forward to reading the recipe.

Land of Flanders and Elsewhere
@Scepticalscribe

The recipe how it is prepared in our house:

Equal parts ground beef and ground pork for extra juicy texture
Fresh bread soaked in milk or broth instead of dry breadcrumbs as a binder
Grate the onions instead of chopping. This makes the meatballs juicier, more flavorful and with no chunks of onions to bite into
Add eggs, salt, pepper and some canola oil
Use a scoop to easily and evenly portion out the meat and then roll into round shapes between the palm of hands
Chill the meatballs just until firm to help them keep shape during frying
Make a fresh, seasoned tomato sauce, add the meatballs and cook, stirring occasionally, for about 10 to 15 minutes.

Ah, thank you for this.

I shall add it to a folder with the very obvious title of "recipes".

Just sitting down to tea and the pager went off. So, logging in with a cup of tea, I guess.

I hate it when the pager goes off or an urgent fax comes in that I have to deal with.
I only buy MFPs that have FAX.

It's very bad that the only ones that do take no more than four colors now.

I don't like that they don't print discs anymore.

I always try to buy printable discs.

Was it a call from 1992?

Do you have a spare 8” floppy disk as I need to back up this document!

Send me a telegram with your street address. I'll dispatch a delivery boy with a box of diskettes.

Cheers. Also getting low in paper for my dot matrix printer!

I'm going to have a nice chuckle if @Gutwrench happens to be a firefighter or paramedic which still uses pagers in many places. Public Safety pagers and not the commercial ones of old, specifically.

I think he's in IT, so there must be a tube blown on the UNIVAC ...

See you at the gate.

I heroically diagnosed the JCL wasn’t submitting the job because CMOS needed more blue bar.

Gosh, you guys are brutal. Lol!

(In reality our off-shore friends had a crisis and needed me to do the “needful”. As a true professional I was able to kiss this off to another group! Operations is paging them as we speak.

Ok ok we have team iPhones for when we are on-call...but we’ve only had them for a couple years. We were carrying dope pagers until then. Haha)

Last night, I made a few phone calls to a couple of old friends I hadn't seen in well over a year; emails and texts are all very well, but a good, proper phone call makes is better at times.

Now, debating more phone calls.

Dinner consumed, my welcome post prandial nap has taken place, ABBA is playing for Mother, and - if not, all is to rights - well, matters could be a lot worse.

Maybe you can find a FAX MFP that prints discs if you're not also looking for all-duplex.

The first complete machine that I found was the HP Photosmart Premium C309a (2009). Except for A3 and more colours.

The Epson Expression Photo XP-850 (2012) has more colours, but disc printing was already unobtainable.

Now it's down to four colours.

Brother has A3.

Bonjour sucks if you have subnets.

Someone was talking about a 2018 Mac mini. Then I saw new Macs had been released.

I don't know what is reasonably upgradeable. So I maxed out a config: $4199. WTF?

I decided to check out what one can build for that money matching the specs without caring too much about the sweet spots:

Well, yes.

The thing is, if you spend that sort of money on a computer, you will not have it in mind to upgrade after a year or two; prudence or sense will decree that you will keep it for the best part of three, or four, or five years. Or more.

And that, in turn, may render you a less than optimum desirable customer from the perspective of the assiduous bean counters in Cupertino.
