I could totally see it, though - announce 18th or 19th, orders open immediately, and it hits shelves the following Tuesday to avoid the Good Friday conflict.

Landscape camera will be a game changer for faceID failuresAlso, from this image it seems like there will be no bezel reduction, but we can see that new iPad Pros will have horizontal Face ID.

If the Air had that and promotion i'd be sold. As would 90% of Pro buyers i suspect, haha.Well, looks like the landscape cameras won't be coming to the Air Leaning heavily toward getting the Pro now.
Dynamic Island isn’t a notch thoThe ESR screen protector for the 13” Pro makes it look like we’re getting a notch and I am so happy 😀 I hope it’s an actual Dynamic Island.
Man, you must be the first person in history who actually wants a notch It's not necessarily the case, they have to put a notch or a hole on the screen protector anyway because of the camera and ambient light sensor, I think. The ESR screen protector for the 13” Pro makes it look like we’re getting a notch and I am so happy 😀 I hope it’s an actual Dynamic Island.
Yes, since ESR isn’t 100% sure of the placement, they might have just added a notch to the screen protector.Dynamic Island isn’t a notch tho
I think the notch brings parity within Apple’s lineup, and yeah, it could just be to be sure they don’t black any sensors they might not be 100% sure on the placement.Man, you must be the first person in history who actually wants a notch It's not necessarily the case, they have to put a notch or a hole on the screen protector anyway because of the camera and ambient light sensor, I think.
He said the software update to iPadOS 17.4 is needed and that it would be done end of March or early April then needs to be sent to factory so it could be well into April. Not the news I was hoping for. I gave my 12.9” M1 iPad Pro to my sister in February and took her Air to use until the new one came out thinking it would not be long.Gurman’s Q&A this week is about the iPad release timing. Is anyone a subscriber?

I'm confused about this "variant of iPadOS 17.4."from the Verge
Apple’s updated tablets should arrive after “a variant of iPadOS 17.4” is finished around the end of this month or “sometime in April,” Mark Gurman writes in the subscriber version of Power On for Bloomberg today.

hmm, you may be right. But there's also: "You will get your iPad when they are good and ready", which I thought was annoying. (not sure who said that)I don't think this is any new information. This could still be consistent with an announcement this week for a release then . . .

Q: Can you please clarify when the new iPad Pro will arrive?
A: There seems to be a misunderstanding on social media and online forums as to when I said new iPad Pro models would debut, so let me clear some things up. In December, I said the new iPad Pro would arrive after the M3 MacBook Air, or “around the end of March.” Since then, I’ve repeatedly said that new software for
the iPad Pro — a variant of iPadOS 17.4 designed for the updated models — won’t be complete until the end of March or even sometime in April. Once the OS is finished, Apple needs to send it off to the factories to be installed on the new hardware. That process could last a couple weeks, probably taking us deeper into next month. Nothing in my reporting has changed.
Just be patient.

😂😂🤣😂🤦♂️🤦♂️ Never listen to Gurman on iPad release timings! He has been wrong on several occasions, he even publicly stated the iPad Mini 6 would NOT be launched on the very same day Apple launched it! 🤣😂
The other week he claimed NO new Mac hardware would be launched and Apple launched the new updated MacBook Air. His track record on release schedules is shockingly poor.
Also... let's not forget about what happened to M3, M3 Pro, and M3 Max MacBook Pros...😂😂🤣😂🤦♂️🤦♂️ Never listen to Gurman on iPad release timings! He has been wrong on several occasions, he even publicly stated the iPad Mini 6 would NOT be launched on the very same day Apple launched it! 🤣😂
