iPad Pro When are new iPad Pros being announced?

Because of Good Friday and Easter I think today was probably the only chance for this week. Onto next week, if can’t possibly go another week after that? Can it Tim?!?!?

Easter is Sunday, Apple never releases things on a Sunday so that doesn’t really matter. Can still be a Tuesday announcement and pre order with a next week “Wednesday” release like the m2 iPad. But I doubt it. Mid to late April is my new guess lol

I think you are right. Announcement 4/2, pre-orders 4/5...ship 4/12.

I was more referring to Good Friday and not being able to ship/deliver on this Friday for some countries.

whenever they get announced i say 2 weeks later for delivery
also might not be announced at 5 am PST like the macbook air
the ipad pro m1 was announced on a tuesday at like 9:00 am PST

There are countries with a second Easter Day. Like we have in Europe.

Apple here is closed (not the stores) so no pers statements on that day, no shipping, etc.

I don't see the holiday 'interference' logic, unless there's some kind of rule for the time frames between announcements, pre-orders, and shipping. But rumor has it not tomorrow anyway.

I was joking that they don’t want to release them until every detail has leaked, and that’s starting to feel more real. Remember we don’t have info on colors or what’s included in the box so look out for those before the announcement.

Shipping companies don't deliver packages or accept new ones during bank holidays in most of Europe, so it would only make sense to announce them either today or tomorrow and ship them after the holidays.

Heads up in America Good Friday is not a federal holiday and neither is “Easter Monday”. All banks are open and functional with normal hours. Also USPS runs as well I believe. Just another day in the states. Not sure why Easter keeps being brought up in a release date. Sure they will not launch on Easter Sunday lol

I don't think the Easter Monday makes much difference, but April Fools Day would not be my first choice to sell something. Maybe it's just me?

So I'd say anytime, is a good time (except next Monday).

Zero chance. They don’t always announce all iPads at the same
Time. Mini is its only thing now on its own release schedule.

Because Apple makes profit in more than just America. As has been said multiple times now, shippers in Europe won’t operate on Good Friday or Easter Monday.

The stock market is closed though. It also just doesn’t make sense to do a big product launch (whether it’s preordering or actual release) on a Friday of a holiday weekend.

heres my thoughts. they could announce it tomarrow (or maybe just the airs and then leave the pros until next week). Theirs no issue with an online pre order on this friday (good friday) that shouldent be an issue, and after easter, they are free to do what they like when they like. i just hope its soon

Interesting thought; separating Air and Pro release. That could be a possibility.

I work retail, over the years the stock doesn’t necessarily drop prior to an announcement but I do notice a shortage of 3rd party accessories!

I undestand now. It does seem odd for the build number to be identical. More likely this is a mistake than anything else. Guess we'll find out tomorrow.
