I wish we knew with some certainty of what is to come, and when!

I’ve been without iPad for ten days and I feel like I have lost a limb!

Have found a iPP 11 M1 128 GB Cellular with a Pencil 2 and a Logitech Combo case for £550, local to me, that I am tempted to take a punt on to tide me over, but reluctant to do so if new models are to be announced any time soon.

Given up. Got a super sweet deal on a 12.9 6th gen with magic keyboard. Need it now for a project and this one will still be perfect. I'm sure will have some iPad envy in a couple of weeks but now that the 6th gens are super good and reliable for what I need.
I'm glad I still have my M1 12.9" iPad. I plan to gift it to my daughter once the mythical/mystical M3 iPad arrives. 😁😆 You'd think having a fully capable M1 would make my anxiety much lower.

I used to describe myself as an Apple Fanboy. Now I guess I'm now an Apple "Still Anxious Boy". To be honest if I couldn't sooth my conscious about a somewhat smallish upgrade, by gifting the M1 iPad to my kid, I wouldn't go M3.

Of course when I see the total price that includes the new Magic Keyboard I just might get my kid an M3 MacBook Pro and keep the M1. Battery life still seems decent and the screen display quality if very good IMHO.

Not gonna lie, for that price I'd say you should go get it. It's a really nice deal.

I started rumbling yesterday to the Missus, about how I might get a Surface in June on account of the iPad delays. She just padded me lovingly on the cheek going "Sure you will sweetheart, sure you will."

🤣
If only Microsoft offered the new Surface pros with AMD chips… they’re much more repairable now, and the latest team red processors are honestly really efficient o_O

Im a bit confused here. Are they LAUNCHING in May but will be announced this month? Gurman said the week of the 6th right? Does that mean will be in stores/arriving to those who pre ordered?

Example:
Announced April 29-30th....Preorders May 3rd, Arrived May 10th.

Or does he mean:
Announced May 6-7th, Pre Orders May 10th, Arrives May 17th?

Also Whats the price increase and does it apply to the accessories like the Apple Pencil 3rd Gen and Magic Keyboard.

Example:
Ipad Pro 11 inch 128GB Entry (hopefully bumped up to 256 gig entry) $799....Price increase $999
Ipad Pro 12.9 Inch 128GB Entry (Hopefully Bumped up to 256 Gig Entry) $1099 .... Price Increase to $1299

Apple Pencil. 2 starts at $129.....Apple Pencil 3 $149?

Magic Keyboard 11 inch $299......Increased to $349?
Magic Keyboard 12.9 inch $349 Increased to $399?

Ideally id like to get a 256 Gig OLED 12.9 inch with a new magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil 3.

OLED Ipad Pro 12.9 inch 256 Gig $1399
Magic Keyboard for Ipad Pro 12.9 $399
Apple Pencil 3 for Ipad Pro $ 149

1947 total Plus Tax in New York State (8.625%) Equals $2114.93

Thats well into Macbook Pro terrority.....What are we getting for that besides a faster processor, a horizon camera and an OLED Screen but still does the exact same thing as the last one with no software changes...

Like if this was a hybrid computer that was both Ipad and Macbook Pro...thats a steal at that price. But if its just a really nice ipad with limited pro app support....get my issue here?

Oh I get it! That's why it would make sense if it could run MacOS? But it won't, and they will be all shocked Pikachu face when people don't want to pay these sorts of prices for an iPadOS limited device.

If Apple increases the prices, then I guess my estimate for how much I'll have to pay for mine is:
iPad Pro 13" cellular 2TB (I need that much storage because my last iPad was almost full at 512GB; my iPhone 13 Pro Max is also almost full at 512GB) - $3499
Apple Pencil 3 - $199
Magic Keyboard 13" - could be up to $599
AppleCare+ - $199
$4496 + tax = $4720.80

Hopefully either the prices don't go up and/or the CAD gets stronger

I think this one. Since he said the press materials were arriving late during the week of the 6th, and I think the press materials go up in Apple Stores when the products launch, not when they’re announced or available for pre-order. Somebody can correct me if I’m wrong.

Their is no way they would charge almost double for the Keyboard....I mean...at the end of the day its just a aluminum keyboard and slightly bigger trackpad! Its not a additional battery or processor in it!

I highly doubt it will be double, but i'm expecting a sizeable increase. And to think the current version is £380 in the UK. Lmao. What a joke.
