I wish mine would offer anything. I called again to see what happened and put on hold for 30+ minutes then hung up on. I unfortunately now can't afford to purchase from Apple and it looks like they don't even have it in stock for 2 weeks either. This is such a mess (putting aside the fact I want a product) this was absolutely unacceptable on Best Buy's end especially since it's happened so much. I am glad they will get you your order though that's awesome. *thumbs up :)

Honestly, call them back. Say you expected it today as the email stated when you placed the order, that obviously isn't happening, and that you're looking for alternatives to get it as soon as possible. They'll check stock nearby, and then tell you shipping options. You should be able to get away with next day shipping for free since the mess up is on their end, not yours.

Hope you can get it.
 
Just left Best Buy with my preorder. They didn't have many in stock

Got an email that said my order was delayed and that I now should get it by July 13th. Lame. I should've done in store pick up.
 
noticed that at my store as well, not much stock after picking my 10.5 up this am. I was actually debating going with the 12.9 this go around, but they didn't have the Space Gray and the white bezels on the colors they did have aren't for me.

Say you expected it today as the email stated when you placed the order, that obviously isn't happening, and that you're looking for alternatives to get it as soon as possible. They'll check stock nearby, and then tell you shipping options. You should be able to get away with next day shipping for free since the mess up is on their end, not yours.

Hope you can get it.
I called and spent 3hours on the phone they said nothing can be done. The website had the one day shipping option for 5 minutes but I had to raise my credit limit to be able to grab it but by the time I hit "place order" it said the item can only be picked up in store now.
There is no dealing with Best Buy, what happens happens with them, customer loyalty means nothing. :/

At first I thought: "what's the point? It won't work at all." but then realized I have nothing to lose... so I clicked the link and it said it has 2 locations that somehow became available. I jumped at it and it now says a new pick up location.
It's still processing, and realistically, I highly highly doubt it will work out. But here's to hoping the universe gives me a win today.

Patiently waiting for status to change.... Mine is supposed to be store pickup. Still says arriving today, but hasn't transitioned to preparing, much less ready for pickup.
 
Originally ordered on launch day but the order got screwed up where a glitch caused the gold I wanted to order as silver. I called customer service and they saw the same glitch and gave me a gift card to make up for the hassle--but they couldn't switch it to the gold. Annoying but considering I use a keyboard case I didn't care until I saw that it wasn't delivering until 6/21. Then two days ago I looked at the site and was able to order gold for launch day delivery (and somehow reuse the one-time 10% coupon I used on the original order) and it's on the UPS truck heading to my house now. Can't cancel the silver because oddly it's preparing for shipment now so I'll have to return it. Whatever. It works for me.

I'm still waiting for an update on the shipping situation, but they said delivery is for tomorrow and I'm hoping they stick to that. Or I'll get a free gift card or something lol

While checking on the shipping status, I noticed that my local store lit up and say IN STOCK. I switched it faster than you can IN STORE PICK UP. Waiting for the email now. Fingers crossed for me now too!

Hope you're lucky! I pre-ordered with pick on 13 Jun. BB sent me the, "your product is not available" text. Now, because I got suckered by the BB gift card they will not have stock until 26 Jun 2017, I am officially screwed. Crying, no, pissed off, yes! I cancelled my order. Will not purchase from BB again. Lesson learned!

BB has no stock. Most likely he won't get it until the end of June.
 
I gotta wonder which iPad configuration, color, storage etc folks are encountering problems with.

The 10.5 space gray 64gb I bet no one had trouble acquiring. Easy peasy at my store.

And it is my understanding the constraint is with Apple, not BB. They get first shipments from Apple, not their own warehouse.

Betting you check Apple's website for that configuration and you will not find it available yet.

I just did in my area, NOTHING ANYWHERE and I have lots of stores in my area.
 
Apple stores do have them... I just picked up my 10.5 inch. They also had 12.9 in stock too but preferred I the form factor of the 10.5 much more.

Not the one he wanted with LTE and storage size when I checked in my area. Perhaps they got a shipment since the last time I checked for my area. LTE iPads are not easy to come by on release day.

Regardless, I would wholeheartedly agree that BB should not be giving out incorrect info regarding availability of preordered items.

What a bunch of dummies, I have never seen this big of a problem with BB orders before. I wish Circuit City was still around instead. I know I know i'm complaining for no reason, and I ended up with the iPad, but they aren't sending the gift card for some odd reason, (whatever I guess, i'm too tired from all this to do anything about it today.) I hope to be able to open this guy up tonight and check him out, I just hope the screen is uniform, (no light bleed, no pixel issues, and no loose home button.) *cross my fingers and knock on wood* ;)

Well I got my preorder first thing today via in store pickup from BB before two of my friends got their shipment delivered to them, they preordered from Apple. They both basically waited all day for theirs. :)

Mine was ready for pick up today at my local Best Buy store since yesterday. Went in early today and got it. Excellent, no problems to be found, Space gray 64gb. Most impressive thing for me is the refresh rate at 120hz, a difference maker.
