Not sure if these are similar enough, but the spigen tough armor is great. Nice feel, thoughtful geometry and good drop protection. Plus a kickstand.
The Presidio2 Pro is actually a great case as well. The buttons are surprisingly tactile on this case btw. I like them as much as the apple leather case buttons, despite these being plastic. Nice soft touch exterior, the sides taper in from the back of the phone towards the screen side and it’s great in the hand. Anitmocrobial as well and slightly less of a fingerprint magnet vs the tech21.

I was also considering both the Presidio2 Pro and Grip. The problem is that these seem to collect fingerprints, especially the Grip case. Im guessing that the finger printing on the Presidio2’s is less apparent when compared to the Evo Check? From what ive seen, I like the firm fit and lip that the Presidio2’s have. Ive heard that the Evo Check has a firm fit and good lip, but how does it compare to the Presidio2’s?

True, it does pick up fingerprints. It’s not the worst offender but they’re there. I had an eco check back on my X, so they might have changed the manufacturing process, but the back of that got smudgy and had a slimy feel at times. The Presidio2 Pro seems better so far. As for the fit and lip, unfortunately I don’t have an evo check handy at the moment so I can’t compare.

When I put my phone in the Presidio2 Pro the case had a bow in the back of it that didn't allow it to lie flat on a flat surface... it kind of wobbled and you could spin it. Does yours do that?

Ha, yep forgot about that. It’s not very wobbly as I recall but it does spin. I actually liked that. I have a different case on today so I can’t check the wobbliness atm, but I’ll check it later.

Got the Spigen Thin Fit in red. It feels great, buttons are great, and the sides are tight other than by the mute switch and lightning port. The Color Brick has less give on the sides and feels like it’ll take a drop better than this, but the Thin Fit is thinner.

I was really hoping I wouldn’t like this case ?

Have a black thin fit that I kinda like too; not sure what it is about it. Have all kinds of thinner cases abs I get drawn back to it a few times a week.

I like that

Is that Pro Max? I only see black, blue & green on Amazon.

It is a bit slick on the back, especially if you have dry hands. The TPU on the sides helps.

It’s the regular Pro. The pictures make it a little more orange than it is because of my lights. It’s a pretty neutral deep red.

It feels more secure on the phone than the Sheath, but the Sheath definitely has better grip.

Does anyone know about LAUT cases? Their cases seem pretty interesting:

Ordered a black symmetry and earl grey symmetry from Amazon. Both came in today. I’m very disappointed in the buttons. The black case had almost zero button response. The earl grey case was barely any better, in terms of button response.

Back to the trusty Cyrill color brick.

Amazon is going to go broke with all these case returns. Symmetry's a little hard to get the phone in and out of?

I think I’m gonna return the Thin Fit and keep the Color Brick. I feel more confident with the better grip and protection on it. What an unexpected hit this case has turned out to be.

Great choice! The color brick has become my go-to case for my iPhone 12 Pro.

I returned my 12 and got a 12 Pro, and I think the volume up button is very slightly lower than the other. Not enough to really matter, but I noticed the Color Brick‘s volume up button feels a tiny bit loose on it, and the Sheath is now clicky on all buttons, whereas it was mushy on the volume up button on the 12. I just thought that was interesting.

Camera cutouts on all cases look better on the 12 Pro. Seems like they’re all made to fit it since it has a slightly larger camera array.

My pacific blue dripping case arrived today, not bad about 7 days shipping from China too. A wee bit of sag at the top and bottom but otherwise a very snug fit, and the camera bump protection while not 100% accurate cut outs are also really neat. Sadly the pacific blue of the case doesn't match the blue of the iphone itself, it's much lighter in colour which would probably match the iphone 12 blue. I'm going to order another one in black which I think should suit the PB better.
