I had a quick questions for anyone who may know. I am considering ordering the Navy synthesis as well for my PB 12pro. Does the synthesis case have the same feel as the Sheath? If not, how would you describe the feel? Anyone have a pic of the PB 12pro with the navy synthesis?
The Synthesis feels different. The back is hard plastic with a frosted texture (much finer texture than the Sheath). The sides are stiffer than the Sheath and have a smooth texture with the cross hatch strip. I think the Synthesis is the better case, but it is a little thicker so I’m still using the Sheath. My wife has the Synthesis on her mini. I don’t find the Synthesis to lack grip, but it isn’t as grippy as the Sheath.

Thank you for the detailed response. Much appreciated.

Yes. I really wish Nomad would update their cases to have the asymmetrical cutouts and frankly remove the lanyard holes (people actually use those???)

It's definitely harder on your pinky than the Apple cases.
Agreed. mous and nomad need to get there act together. I’m fine with lanyard holes if they are built into the bumper(catalyst), but mous, moment and nomad seem to create cutouts that they claim are eyelets. It only causes more dirt and debris to get into the case. The lack of asymmetrical holes aren’t helpful either. I get that not every brand can utilize the full body protection like catalyst but they can definitely omit those pointless lanyard cutouts from the design. I also don’t understand these volume relief cuts(slits) on some of these case brands. How hard is it make decent tactile buttons without making a slit? I’m talking to you Mous, caseify, moment( thin case) and even pitaKa.

Symmetry ain’t too bad this time. :)
I recently grabbed the Mous limitless 4.0 in Aramid... honestly a really great case. Thinner than most other protective cases, great fitment, feels pretty good (a little slippery), but I havent taken it off since i put it on a week or so ago.

Had the new Rebel Gen 2, already sold it. Heavy, bulky, nice quality -- but wasn't my thing.

Nice. Is the Limitless 4.0 a dust magnet, given the large cutouts(lanyard hole, volume relief cuts, and symmetrical bottom cutouts)? Can we see some pics?

Anyone that's had the Mous Limitless 3.0 and 4.0, I keep seeing people say the 4.0 is slimmer. Is it really? Like, noticably so? Because every Mous case I've had in the past was a freaking brick and felt like it doubled the weight and width of the phone.

Definitely thinner I had the limitless for the 11 pro max and it was a brick, no longer the case (no pun intended). Here are a few pics sorry for iPad qualitycamera pics.

Do any Mous limitless 4.0 owners have any updates on their case now that it’s been around for over a month? If so, is the dust accumulating quickly and most importantly is the internal lining with the ring and other patterns creating imprints on the back of the phone similar to DLyman’s struggle with the Nomad Rugged MagSafe version?

I've had my 12 PM for 1 day now and I have already returned 3 cases and have 3 in the mail I'm waiting on. After a lot of debate I decided to go with these:
apple leather - saddle brown
solidsuit
phone rebel clear
ringke onyx - its the only one I actually have and I'm pretty impressed. For $10 it's an amazing case and don't know why anybody wouldn't choose it over the caudabe sheath

The Onyx was the first case I got for my 12 PM, and I love it. But after getting the Sheath, I've barely used the Onyx.

Part of the problem I have with the Onyx is the way it shows the frame of the phone at the top and bottom. Maybe it's intentional since it's pretty much symmetrical, but it just looks sloppy.

I've returned tons of cases for that exact reason. Either they should show the frame all the way around, like the Apple cases, or they shouldn't show it at all, like the Sheath. It took 2 replacements from DBrand to finally get a Grip case that didn't bulge either at the volume bottoms or the power button.

I don't understand why case makers seem to be having so many issues with this new (old) form factor this year. It's like they've forgotten how to make cases for phones that have squared off edges.

Ordered the ESR clear magsafe case, on sale for $13AUD with delivery here, suppose to be 2 x stronger than Apples leather.
Will see.

I wrote a thread on Mous 3.0 and 4.0; I own both of them!

There are no issues with the imprints on the back of the phone. No issue with dust either. The 3.0 fits soo tight that it causes scratches on the stainless steel when you take it off and put it back on! I have a few already.

Also, is anyone on here thinking of trying out the Mous limitless 4.0? Selling out like crazy on Amazon and Mous.co.
They are super hard to get your hands on! Because they are really that good!

The limitless 4 feels lighter and has a not as tight as 3 fit on the phone; so a bit easier to remove. It is missing the sim pin ans sim holding slot that the 3 has.

(in images, white & maple are 3; Aramid is 4)

Also, the Mous Aramid Fiber has no texture whatsoever, it has a matte black flat look to it abs it does hold oil onto it and need a good wipe sometimes! I wish I had picked the wood on the 4, but already had it on 3 so went with the Aramid.

If anyone’s trying, I’d highly recommend the wooden backs over the Aramid

Hi everyone I've been using this dripping case for 3 months and it's been great however the colour is starting to peel and flake and not looking so good. Does anyone have any recommendations for a similar case to dripping that offers full camera bump coverage too? Thanks

Wait, the 3.0 causes scratches? Does the 4.0 do the same? Also, how's the drop protection?

How is it compared to the sheath in relation to thickness?
Sorry for the late reply.
I took a few minutes last night to compare both cases, and the Sheath and the Totallee Clear (Soft) are practically identical. I compared the width, depth, and height. However, the Sheath definitely hugs the phone tighter than the Totallee does, though, so it feels like it's thinner once it's on the phone. I hope that helps.
